JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 ftfy Lowering my standards are you????
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Nolasco's latest Twins photo: / because he's gotten, you know, tattooed so many times
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Why does it feel like a victory that the Yankees only scored 2 there??
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I'm sick of this guy already. Only 3 more years I guess
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Lowering my standards are you???? Not touching that straight line.
curt1965 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I had my grand kids here for the last 3 days-didn't see any games, played with them, took them swimming, shot some fireworks, and today was finally looking forward to watching the Twins-yuk!
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 The only good thing about Nolasco pitching today is that I don't have to see him when the Twins come to Seattle this week.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I'm sick of this guy already. Only 3 more years I guess Nah, he'll be fine for the rest of the contract. I just jinxed him today.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 You ever get the curtains bought, Ashbury?
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Nolasco is very Blackburn-like.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 This is probably the more appropriate Rally Rhino for today's game.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 You ever get the curtains bought, Ashbury? I don't know about ash, but it's soon to be curtains for Nolasco.
GCTF Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Nolasco is very Blackburn-like. Starting to miss Nick.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 You ever get the curtains bought, Ashbury? A tale of woe. Perhaps if the game starts to drag a bit I will elaborate.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I don't know about ash, but it's soon to be curtains for Nolasco. Not soon enough.

D. Hocking Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I predict this is going to be a short game thread as people are going to find other things to do. I am just going to blame this on RB for ditching his game thread duties. No other logical reason to foresee this happening.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Traded ellsbury in fantasy yesterday. It's my fault guys
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Remember earlier this year when people were mocking the Yankees and praising the Twins.......remember when people thought signing Nolasco was a good move?
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 http://www.sevenoaksart.co.uk/images/curtains.gif I feel the same way.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Well, at least Buxton is back on the field today. So that's something positive, I guess.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I was on board with the Nolasco signing. And he is still only 1/8 the way through the contract, but geez, what a disappointing start.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Remember earlier this year when people were mocking the Yankees and praising the Twins.......remember when people thought signing Nolasco was a good move? No, Senator, I do not recall any of that happening. And on the advice of my legal counsel, I'm not answering any more questions.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Remember earlier this year when people were mocking the Yankees and praising the Twins.......remember when people thought signing Nolasco was a good move? And we were happy to see Worley go.
ScottyB Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 How many games has Nolasco has where he didn't give up a run early? I'll answer my own question, in his 18 outings only 3 times has he given up his first run in the 4th or later: 1) 2nd inning, 2 runs2) 2nd inning, 2 runs3) 5th inning, 1 run4) 3rd inning, 2 runs5) 2nd inning, 3 runs6) 4th inning, 1 run7) 3rd inning, 2 runs8) 1st inning, 1 run9) 4th inning, 1 run10) 1st inning 2 runs11) 3rd inning, 1 run12) 2nd inning, 1 run13) 1st inning, 3 runs14) 1st inning, 1 run15) 2nd inning, 2 runs16) 1st inning, 2 runs17) 2nd inning, 1 run18) 1st inning, 2 runs That's at least 1 run in the first in 6 out of the last 11 games, and at least 1 run in the 1st or 2nd in 9 of 11. Why didn't we sign Kazmir instead of Nolasco and why did we give him a four year deal instead of Hughes?
curt1965 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Mr. Pohlad is going to have a hard time selling tickets after the all-star break. Glad I didn't spend good money on this game.......
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 ROBIN: Holy Rally Rhino, Batman! I can't believe the Bat Computer was wrong. It's going to take at least seven runs to win this game. BATMAN: Never mind that, Robin. The Riddler wants to know why they build fences around cemeteries. ROBIN: The fiend! Could it be because people are dying to get in? BATMAN: Have I ever told you your shorts are too tight?
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Why didn't we sign Kazmir instead of Nolasco and why did we give him a four year deal instead of Hughes? That's pretty easy to say now. http://southparkstudios.mtvnimages.com/images/shows/south-park/clip-thumbnails/season-14/1411/south-park-s14e11c05-god-bless-you-captain-hindsight-16x9.jpg
