heheh... point taken... though he watched all 3 strikes and managed to foul off a two strike pitch in that at bat. Kind of sad. I like working the count, but I get the distinct impression he needs to swing the bat a bit more.

Let me guess the scenario. We fall assbackwards into a couple runs. Immediately give up 4 or more. Do nothing until the last minute only to fall short by a run.

Re: the thread on Dozier's baserunning, he took a nice cruise into third base here in the third. Nothing extraordinary, nothing a lot of other players wouldn't have done, but good gracious, he runs the bases with conviction, making up his mind at exactly the right point before reaching second and just goes so smoothly.
