Rays broadcast team is dissecting Nolasco's delivery flaws. Wonder if Anderson can tap into this and find a fix.

Today is a perfect example of why I put no stock in catchers framing capability statistics or pitchers not getting certain pitches called strikes. Nolasco is all over the place. The home plate umpire is not going to give him anything close if Suzuki sets up inside and Nolasco misses or is close outside because the umpire will set up based on where the catcher sets up.

This "platoon" word you keep using... What does it mean?

You mean Brock has really been Gardy all along?

Is it just me, or when Nolasco pitches, can anyone else hear Lou Brown saying "Enough with the curveball, Ricky. Give 'em the heater."

Hit this one and you can name it.....

Anyone else think that the Twins are doing it with mirrors so far? I mean other than runs scored and OBP, there really isn't much to indicate this team is a .500 team.

Did P-Flo have any homers hitting RH last year? If he did, I don't remember. His rep was that RH was his strong side, but he just didn't hit at all from that side of the plate last year.

If you're curious, PFlo's last HR batting RH came in the minors in 2012. He hit just one RH HR that year. He's never hit one at the Major League-level.

I think pretty much everyone here on TD is certain the walks and runs that come with them, will tail off at some point. The differences come at when.

There's been a few things go wrong in the early going too. 2 starting outfielders on the DL, slow starts by Mauer, Pelfrey, Nolasco, Hughes... Even Hicks and Florimon have been worse than expected. If everyone stays healthy and a few of those guys start producing, then what?

Let's hope the starting pitching doesn't get even worse.

I'm not convinced that Mauer is going to get right. I think he is suffering from post concussion and his reaction times are not what they were.
