  1. Second game this year that Perkins has blown a win for Hughes, and of course I went over on 9.5 wins for Hughes.
  2. According to the gamecast, Hughes is up in the zone. I don't like pitchers continually pumping fastball after fastball up in the zone.
  3. I don't know what is going to happen against Zobrist, but the fact the Gardy keeps Burton in there is mind boggling.
  4. Pretty good day for Florimon, 3 balls put into play in 5 at bats and tries to put a little pressure on the bull pen with an "error" the inning before.
  5. The bullpen did a pretty good job of limiting damage in an inning which could have really blown up in our faces.
  6. Maybe it is sad, but I only feel really comfortable when the Twins are up by more than four runs that way one swing of the bat at anytime can't tie it.
  7. Suzuki with another big 2-out hit. I don't think anyone expected the bottom half of the lineup to have 6 hits and 8 rbi's. That is impressive considering florimonster is 0-3
  8. Good quick inning for Nolasco there. Always a good thing to get the guys back in the dugout quickly after putting up a few runs.
  9. Maybe that home run along with a good at bat for a walk earlier will start a positive streak for Hicks.
  10. Hopefully Nolasco can settle in for a couple more innings to at least complete 6.
  11. Be a good time for the first grand slam of the season for the Twins!!!
  12. I don't know how accurate gameday is but it seems like Gibson is getting squeezed.
  13. I know it is early on, but it seems like our pitchers think they can get away with throwing a 91 mph fastball belt high. We are way to far up in the zone so far.
  14. It worked out to not bunt them over. I will eat crow on a statement like that all year Kubel!!!!
  15. I don't know if it will work out but why not bunt over the baserunners?
  16. This is my first post here but I have been reading this forum for quite some time. I am hopeful that Nolasco was just anxious as it was the start of the season, because it seems to me he was not finishing his pitches which resulted in a lot of pitches up in the zone. Hopefully, next time he will be better. As for Willingham, I am becoming more concerned with him. He did have a pretty decent swing in the 9th inning, but those swings are coming seem to be coming too few and far between. I figured Arcia might struggle a little bit going against a tough lefty in Sale, so I am not too concerned about him. Overall, Suzuki had a great game and hopefully Colabello and Hicks can have many more games like yesterday. Go Twins!!!
