After being down for much of the day, we're back

[Brock Beauchamp]

Lost a few hours of posts due to a server screwup during an upgrade of Apache software. Other than that, everything should be working correctly and I'm going to &^%$ing sleep now.

Have a drink first!

[Squirrel]

And thanks!

[Richie the Rally Goat]

Thanks Brock, I was getting the TD DTs. Now I can get my fix!

[Mike Sixel]

Thanks Brock.....this is why I turned down a job last year to be the director of one of our larger applications.....no interest in being on call anymore.

[gunnarthor]

Man, thank God it was a server problem. I came to the cite this morning and saw the thread I put up on Bryce Harper was gone and thought "Man, what did I do to get banned this time?"

[TheLeviathan]

Weird to see entire threads or portions of threads disappear.

[Craig Arko]

Florimon's revenge.

Definitely the least appealing part of being in the tech world, that's for sure.

I had figured the problem was a virus on my computer, because I had updated an Adobe installation and it added some really annoying crapware that I didn't catch onto at first. Weird timing of all that.

[Craig Arko]

The other oddity is that MLBTraderumors was also down most of yesterday; theirs was a DDoS against the host.

Yeah, I forgot about that, but the combination of the two really had me giving the Norton tools a good workout on my disk.

[JB_Iowa]

I thought it was just a way to remind us of all you do to keep the site up and running.

Seriously, thanks for all the effort. And a break from some of the discussions was probably a benefit for many!

Solidarity.

[DaveW]

Pathetic.

TD Over.
