At least I see it in the movies... there’s gotta be something there. Look, if you want to adjudicate this as a fan, stop buying tickets. Stop clicking web pages. Separate yourself from Major League Baseball. I’m not happy about what happened with the team. The MLB should have blown that up. The players were absolutely complicit in that, but “took the plea deal”. It’s not the players fault that the jury was rigged. I’m willing to give MLB another shot, even with the stain.

    maybe a little. I mean this is a big deal and I’m mad at him too, but jeez... if you’re gonna ban everyone who breaks the rules of a competitive sport, your gonna run out of players. I bet there was some difficult conversations in that clubhouse. But when they’re done ya gotta move on (from a clubhouse/player perspective) That’s not to say I’d extend Marwin. I wouldn’t. Poor judgement plus declining play is not a recipe for extension. As players like Gordon or Blankenhorn start to push for big league playing time, it’ll be at the expense of Marwin. But I wouldn’t eat the last year of his contract out of spite.

They couldn’t answer him then, and still couldn’t answer him last week. I’m of the opinion that out metrics of what a “good economy” is, may be out of date. Inflation for instance, largely ignores healthcare spending and groceries, which are the two largest areas of consumer spend in the US. All this to say, i don’t think there is a clear answer at this point. We don’t know how or agree on how to measure...

    Friday was not the bottom, and it will be a slow recovery in China as inbound container ships at the port of LA are down 25% through April. 2020 is going to be a rough year, but I’m still riding it out. For most of my assets it’s not a loss until I sell.

    I read it the same way. My strategy in this scenario would be to try to have more relievers get 4-6 outs and try to avoid starting a clean inning.

    Marwin does, why can’t Arraez? At this point Marwin is my 4th OF. If Buck gets injured Marwin remains my 4th OF and Cave comes up to play RF, moving Kepler to CF.
