    Correa has been very disappointing at the plate. Sure, he's hot some balls hard but literally everything is on the ground right to the SS or 2nd baseman. I think he might lead the league in double plays if he can't get the ball in the air. He's got to figure this out, we can't have a guy hitting like this getting a 37 million dollar salary on a penny pinching team. If I remember right, he's usually kind of a slow starter, just never to this extent. Maybe he should try the new torpedo bat trend! Hopefully he gets a few hits back at home if not before, it's not like we can send him to AAA like we did with Wallner last year :(

    Think it could be helpful for players who crowd the plate and get jammed a lot. Not sure I'm sold on these yet though...

    Hopefully Mercedes can hit like he did last year. Would be nice to have a speedy .300 hitting OF who is also a base stealing threat. Basically what Buxton was supposed to be early on his career.

    It was only one start and he'll have to keep getting these results, but Zebby sure seems ready to take the next step. Now hitting 99 mph with his control sounds deadly. If Paddack continues to struggle and Mathews keeps this up, maybe they send Paddack to the pen as the long man and get Zebby up in the rotation a month or so from now.

    I think what's most concerning is we've had to call up and use long relievers because of starters blow ups twice now within the first 4 games. Donna now Mcgaughan. What's next, do they call up Morris or Festa for a few days to pitch 5 innings after SWR or even Lopez gets knocked out of the game in the third inning?

    I think Winokur and Soto are the most promising and most fun to watch develop this year. Can Soto put together a full healthy season of good numbers and possibly make his AA debut this year? Can Winokur stick at short since we're going to need an MLB caliber SS soon? It's also an important season for Gabby Gonzalez. Hopefully last year was a fluke and he can put together a good solid year and put up some offensive numbers. Aside from whatever we get from Topa this year, Gonzalez is our last chance to get something out of the Polanco trade. It's looking like it might be more fun following the minor league teams rather than the MLB club this year 😂

    The way they've played so far, I'm not so sure the Twins could beat the Saints right now lol. If we go into our home opener 0-6 it would be funny if nobody went to the game Thursday in protest of the crappy play so far. Won't happen, but it would be a strong message to ownership. Their time is up, move on and sell the team to somebody who cares!

    We have every right to complain after that pathetic excuse of a game today against the WSox. Buxton and Correa quitting in the 3rd inning? No fight at all to this team, I would never pay money to watch this excuse of a team.

    It's nice he doesn't strike out much but he never walks and produces lots of weak contact. If he could improve his pitch recognition and start driving some pitches for more power it would sure help out the lineup until Lewis comes back.

    It's too bad Eeles is hurt, this could have been his chance this year. Wonder what his return to timeline is, same with Keaschal playing the field. After watching the three pathetic offensive clunkers this weekend it sure looks like we're gonna need all the help we can get ...

    So far Wili and Larnach are the only ones hitting.

    He could be a real exciting player. Maybe Correa's heir apparent at shortstop. Now they just need to find a way to keep him healthy and on the field, which they haven't been able to do with all of our other top prospects.

    Offense looks terrible aside from Larnach. Wallner, Correa and Buxton 0-24. No wonder we're winless. Looks like Correa is hitting everything into the ground again If he keeps this up I wouldn't be surprised if he leads the league in grounding into double plays again. Twins baseball baby!

    I'd wait to see how this year plays out. Will he hit like first half Jeffers or second half Jeffers of last year? He's not great defensively so he'll need to stay healthy and hit well to be of bvalue.

    Wallner hit 30+ HR's while hitting less than .240.

    An actual plan at the trade deadline would help a lot too. If we are competitive and have a clear hole or two to fill, then they need to go out and fill it. Unlike last year when they picked up the nobody reliever literally just to show they did something.

    I think he'll need to have really healthy seasons up until his contract is up if we're to extend him. Maybe give him a cheap base salary with plenty of incentives to make more money based on games played. That way the deal doesn't sink us if he's always hurt. With guys like Jenkins, Rodriguez, Keaschal, Rosario and Mccusker coming up Buck will have to outproduce some younger guys in order to get playing time ..

    As usual, it will all come down to health. All you've got to do these days is MAKE the postseason and then anything can happen :) Happy opening day!

    I was also thinking if he stays healthy and effective, but we also have someone in AAA banging down the door for a call up, maybe we could aquire a bat for Paddack at the deadline before he inevitably goes down....

    Morales looked real good this spring. Will be interesting to see if he can keep hitting like this in AAA for any length of time. If Lewis and Lee continue to battle injuries, it couldn't hurt to have someone like him available who can hit:)

    As long as Lee is only out for the minimum, then he can take the roster spot of Julien when he returns.

    With Lewis, Lee and Gasper all hurt, our infield is starting to look pretty shaky, especially defensively. Hopefully Rocco starts Castro at 2nd more than Julien because a right side infield of Julien and France is a disaster waiting to happen. As for our "best bullpen in baseball" lol, we now don't have enough quality relievers. Too bad we lost Henriquez and Headrick for nothing. Blewitt might be ok in the short term, but even when Stewart comes back he's not going to last. Maybe we can pick someone up from outside the org. As far as Eeles goes, why isn't he playing this spring? He should have been one of our best infield options once Lewis and Lee went down....?
