  1. I'd rather have Fedko take Outmans roster spot. A RH outfielder with pop who can also play first. Maybe he gets into a groove and forces himself into the conversation. Twins need a long term answer at first. Not sure Fedko is it, but I have to imagine he'd outperform Outman. We sent down Wallner and Lewis when they were hitting below .190 or so. Why not get rid of Outman and his .180 BA and what, 40 percent K rate?
  2. As horrible as our pen has been, with at least three or 4 RP who should be nowhere near a professional mound anymore, the Twins release a RP in Bowman who was having great success at AAA and an ERA under 2. Why on earth would they not give him a shot over some of these older retread guys?!
  3. Everyone know Royce Lewis needs to be sent down to find his swing, just like Wallner. Swap him with Arcia, should help the lineup. There are plenty of candidates we can drop from the 40 man without any fear of them being picked up on waivers.
  4. Ryan looks good and healthy. What do you think we can get for him at the deadline? Hopefully some AAA/ close to MLB talent.
  5. Hopefully he stays healthy and keeps hitting. Twins can never have too many prospects.
  6. I think SWR has only kept his rotation spot because of all the injuries in the rotation. Once Bradley and Abel are back, I imagine SWR will go on the IL for awhile. He'll get a few starts on his return to see if he can find something, if not, it'll be the pen for the rest of the year.
  7. Really excited about Quick. I still think we could use some higher end SP prospects. Anyone know what's up with Charlie Soto? Dasan Hill?
  8. Long overdue. Would have rather seen Fedko or one of our younger guys get the call but they're all hurt. I imagine when Rodriguez or Roden comes back they'll get called up. We know Outman cannot be starting games. Now they need to send Lewis down. They can call up Arcia until they think Culpeper is ready. Platooning Grey and Arcia at third for Lewis and giving Wallner's at bats to Martin, Larnach and maybe Kreidler should help the lineup a bit. At least we won't have two black hole automatic outs anymore lol
  9. If we can get Bradley and Abel back in the rotation and Festa and either SWR or Prelipp in the pen, it would go a long way towards at least a .500 season:)
  10. Good move sending Wallner down finally. Would have rather seen someone like Fedko rather than Kreidler. Next they need to send Lewis down. If they want Culpeper to get more seasoning in St Paul, they can call up Arcia.
  11. The fact that he hasn't been sent down to find his swing is baffling....
  12. Give him a shot, can't be worse than what we've been throwing out there in the mid to late innings....
  13. Is Ben Ross for real? Hopefully with Fedko being pulled that means Wallner will be getting a reset in AAA. Wallner and Lewis should be sent down for awhile if the Twins are trying to win. Outman doesn't belong on the team either.
  14. Lewis and Wallner need to be sent down to see if they can find their swing. Fedko can replace Wallner if E Rod isn't ready. A power hitting RH OF wouldn't be the worst thing to have on the roster. Keep playing Martin almost every day and throw in Fedko every now and then. As for Lewis, if Culpeper isn't ready they have Gray, Kreidler and Arcia. Not all that exciting but more productive than Lewis at this point
  15. If any team is willing to offer us anything at all for Wallner we should take it.
  16. We just need to hit it big with whoever we pick. Twins have suffered enough. We are due for a high draft pick to finally stay healthy and break out right from the start:)
  17. Who is this Ben Ross kid?! Definitely looking like a major break out year if he can keep it up. Good outing for Dasan Hill. All our young pitching prospects have the same profile it seems. Injury prone, hard throwers with nasty stuff but no command. I know it's becoming really common for young pitchers, but if our guys like Prelipp, Abel, Hill, Rojas, Soto, Bradley etc... can learn to harness their stuff and stay healthy, we should have some good young arms to build around.
  18. Both Lee and Wallner are close to automatic outs at the plate lately. Lewis doesn't look good either. I think Wallner and Lee could use a week or two in AAA. See what Roden and a new SS can do. If they want to wait on K Pepper, bring up Arcia. Isn't that why they signed him?
  19. I don't know why they don't just go dll the way to the electronic strike zone. Dll these abs challenges just slow down the game. Just get the call right the first time and keep the game moving.
  20. Outman has no business on the big league team and the longer he stays, the worse it looks...
  21. It's been fun to watch these wins but man, how long of a leash does Lee have? Bad fielding, lost at the plate. They even tried to have him bunt and he couldn't do that. I expect Gray to play today at least. Same with Outman unfortunately. If this team really wants to compete, I think Lee and Outman need to be sent down. Outman can be replaced by Roden. If we lose him to waivers, so what? Lee can be replaced by Arcia if they want Culpeper to get some more time in the minors
  22. He needs to be able to throw something other than the changeup to get outs. If it's not the fastball, maybe he can get a slider or curve working. I know it's early, but Over has me worried. Especially since there's nobody in AAA that looks ready for a call up
  23. Joe will be just fine. The defense as it is right now, will do him no favors
  24. Buck is one of the few reasons to watch the Twins this year. Hopefully he stays for his whole career. He could be a great mentor for the young outfielders coming up.
