    He's saying what he's expected to say...what any FA would say. Whether or not it's 100% truth doesn't even matter right now. He had a good season, and I wouldn't be surprised if he likes it here and wants to come back. The money/years will determine everything. I sure wouldn't over pay for him.

    To split the 2 games down there, and then come back here and lose both games while only scoring 3 runs and getting only 6 hits for both games, is just disgusting and incredibly disappointing. It's beyond belief. How is that even possible? Is Houston a better team? Of course they are. Should we, could we, have won that series? Hell, yeah! At least won a game and send it back down there for a game 5. Somehow, we have to get back to playing fundamental baseball and start doing the little things to score runs. Trying to hit home runs and striking out 12-14 times every damn game just isn't cutting it.

    I'm way too old and set in my baseball ways, to grasp what we're doing here. I don't like it. I can see doing a bullpen game a few times during the regular season. I can't see doing it in a playoff game...and in a elimination game for us.

    I'm all for sitting Kirilloff down...he's doing zippo anyway, but I don't know about activating Buxton. I don't want to see him at DH tonight, or for game 5 WHEN we win tonight. Very strange move even if AK is really hurt.

    Put up or shut up time. If we have another clunker like yesterday, where we can't figure out how to get some runs across the plate...then we don't deserve to win anyway. Swinging for the fences is great...when you actually hit some out. On days when that doesn't happen, you have to manufacture runs, and that's what this team really struggles to do. That's what's wrong with their approach, and it's been that way for several years. Good teams adjust. The other thing is...I don't know if our young guys are quite ready for this pressure yet. Julien, Wallner, especially Kirilloff, and even Lewis...this is very good experience for them, but they might be in over their heads right now. Houston is a veteran team, with a veteran manager, and plenty of playoff experience. They know how to handle this atmosphere and pressure. I don't think our guys do. There's nothing I'd like more, than to win tonight and then win game 5. GO TWINS!

    Not really anger, just disappointed. I expected to get a decent start from Gray, and he flat out didn't have it. Might be his worst start of the season. We still tend to to have significant issues scoring on a consistent basis. It's feast or famine, with too much famine. Strike out...or hit one out. That has to change. We just don't do a lot of the little things necessary to win games, when guys aren't going yard for us. It's hard to watch at times. We have another shot tomorrow and we desperately need Ryan to pitch well and keep the damn ball in the yard. If he doesn't, it's going to be a long winter.

    Is this discouraging? Hell, yes...but we ain't outta this thing. Not yet. Not by a long shot. It's still early. Let's think positive...at least for a while.

    Have we scored 4 runs in a game for Gray all season? We need to wake the eff up and start hitting the damn ball today. Long way to go yet...we can get back in this.

    The shadows are going to be tough for both teams. Kirilloff fanned on that grounder because of the shadow.

    I'm generally not a fan of the three person booth. Too much chatter. The PBP guy is doing his job and does most of the talking calling the game, and the other two guys are trying to talk and get their points across. Sometimes all of them are talking over one another, or interrupting one another. It's one person too many. It's even worse when they have three people in the booth for a football game. I'm ok with just two...PBP and analyst.

    I'd consider hitting rockets right at guys, some bad luck. Bad base running is a completely different matter.
