    Love Cory...he'll be great on the tv side. He'll also be missed on the radio side. When Atteberry first started working with Dazzle, you could really notice the tension between the two of them. Danny didn't...and maybe still doesn't, like Atteberry at all. It's gotten better, but it's still easy to tell. For me personally...I can't listen to more than a few minutes of Atteberry without wanting to sort the sock drawer, after checking the expiration dates on the food in the fridge. Can't stand him.

    It's all a big smoke-screen. They're gonna spend money like a drunken sailor on FA's and make a slug of trades. WS here we come! If you believe that, I've got some ocean front property in Arizona that I want to talk to you about.

    I'd be willing to take a chance on Trivino, but no interest in having Law back here.

    Pagan wasn't tremendously bad last season like he was in 2022. Yes, he had his moments, but if you put him in lower leverage situations...he was decent. However, I'm sure most of us aren't sad to see him go. Now in the last week or so, we've lost Pagan, Maeda, and Gray. We've got some pitching staff spots to fill. It's going to be very interesting what Falvey has up his sleeve.

    No more Pagan rituals for us. According the MLB's Mark Feinsand, he's signing a 2 year deal with Cincy. No word on the financials yet. He might be quite the adventure in that ballpark. Edit: Looks like a 16 mil deal with an opt out after the 1st year.

    I really don't think Gray was going to sign another contract here, even if the Twins would've out bid any other team for him. He wanted to be gone no matter what the years/money were. Especially with the comment he made about wanting to be with the Cards over a year ago.

    I'll be honest...when I saw the quote from Gray about wanting to be with the Cards, and that he felt that way a year ago...it kind of ticked me off a bit. Even if he felt that way, why would he admit that? We all suspected it, but it sure sounds like he couldn't get out of here fast enough. I hope we get to face him next summer and give him an early shower.

    I'd pass on Matz. We've got better options in house than him. If you're going to make a deal for a pitcher, go better than Matz.

    It really was depressing and deflating to hear Falvey talk about reducing payroll after the season they had. Ownership has plenty of money. Enough to keep the payroll where it's currently at. Even bump it a bit. The Twins just aren't their priority. They just don't seem to want to do what's necessary for another WS trophy. Sure, the loss of revenue from the tv package hurts. We're not the only team in that boat. I hope that Falvey is throwing up a little bit of a smoke screen, and will surprise us with what he does over the winter...in both signings and trades.

    Now is the time to move him. He had a good second half of the season and his trade value is as high as it's going to get.

    Det is reportedly going after Kenta hot and heavy. I think he's going to the Tigers.

    Wouldn't mind getting Sandoval here in a trade deal. Not so sure I want to give up Wallner in the deal though.

    I've seen the report that Det was interested in him. Somebody is going to over pay for him, but that's the way things are now.

    Sign Rhys Hoskins. Forget about moving Polo to 1B. Trade/package him in a deal to Sea for pitching.

    I really can't see either one of these deals taking place. Goldy had a pretty significant drop off last season too. He's definitely coming to the end in a year or two. Would I like to have Alonso mashing in the middle of the Twins lineup? Hell, yeah...but it's not going to happen. It's nice to dream though.

    I saw this yesterday and had a pretty good laugh. They're probably going to have a tough time moving him unless they eat some of that contract. Not exactly a great way to save payroll, if you ask me.

    His trade value is never going to be higher than it is now. It's time to move him.

    They should've kept Montgomery and Flaherty. Especially Monty. Mozy is a terrible GM. The staff is decimated because of his decisions. Sure you can trot out Lynn and Gibson every time it's their turn, because they're pretty durable, but that's it. Right now, they have Mikolas, Matz, Lynn, and Gibson as their starters. That's not going to scare anybody. They don't really have anyone at AAA either. Liberatore hasn't shown that he's ready to be in the rotation. They could be in for another rough season.

    One of my best friends from H.S, is a big time Stl Cards fan, and has been for the over 50 years I've known him. I just talked to him and he's going out of his mind right now wondering wtf Mozeliak is doing down there.
