    I don't know if we really know for certain that they've attempted to trade him. Sure, it's been rumored that they have, but he's still here. If a team wants to move, or trade someone, they find a way to make it happen.

    Oye Como Va! At this point...Carlos the musician, is WAY better than Carlos the ballplayer. This Carlos is done. Much better ways to spend $5 mil. At least we didn't bring back Gallo.

    This is probably a make or break year for him. If he can stay healthy, on the field, and the team can see if he's a possibility long term...then it would be great. If not, then they have to give serious thought to moving on from him.

    Really sorry to see Polo go, but I think the handwriting was on the wall. He was going to get shipped somewhere, and it's been rumored for a while that Sea was the destination. I wish him the best. He'll be a solid addition to their team. Desclafani isn't anything special...he's a 33 year old sub .500 career pitcher, but maybe he can give us some decent innings at the back end of the rotation. No idea about Topa. The real get might be Gonzalez, but we'll have to wait and see if he pans out. Ok...Polo's gone, will Kep be next?

" Whadda classic line that is! Anyway, I'll believe Buck playing CF, when I see it. Not before. I sure hope he's better and can do it, but I ain't holding my breath.

    Boras is really the main force in all of MLB. The clubs might as well give up and make him commissioner, but I'm sure there's no way he'd take that big of a pay cut. Calling him a super agent doesn't even come close. The guy is amazing.

    No chance he makes the team out of ST. He'll be in StP, and maybe not even playing full time there. Late season call up at best. Could be a Buh-Bye Bubba from this organization too.

    Looks like another guy is off the board. ESPN's Jeff Passan is reporting that Rhys Hoskins is getting a 2 year deal from Mil for $34 mil, with an opt out after the 1st year.

    Let's see...if I remember right, we had him for $11 mil last season The Nats get him for $5 or $6 mil this season, if he meets performance perks. That means some lucky team will get him for probably $2.5 mil next season!

    We really need Ryan to pitch like a consistent, solid, mid rotation guy. He also needs to get better at keeping the ball in the yard. He's got the talent to do it.

    Some speculation at this time of year is fun, and keeps the imagination going...but there's absolutely no way they sign Bellinger. They won't sign Hoskins either. You can also forget about any of the remaining high end pitchers too, while you're at it. They just won't do anything that involves prying open the vault. There's a much better chance of the Lagina brothers finding treasure on Oak Island, than the Twins spending that kind of money.

    Cole Sands? Nah. Seen enough of him. The others? A big maybe at best.

    I'm not smart enough to know what this means for us Twins fans...or for that matter, any other fan base that was on BSN. I just want some entity, or the Twins management, to figure out exactly what the plan is going forward, and let us know. Then we can make our individual decision(s) as to what to do, to watch Twins games.

    Why do we have to get rid of either guy? I wouldn't even think about moving either one, unless we get a very good return. True, no one is untouchable, but please be smart about the deal.
