  1. Exactly. Plus if you have Maeda in the BP and not used, He can be Game 1 starter if you win the series, depending on days off built into the schedule. Then you have Ober or Kuechel as a piggy back available.
  2. Ray the game 3 starter, Kenta to the BP. He has experience there, and was dominant in the BP during postseason for the Dodgers
  3. If we could stick Arraez at 1B last year, I am sure either of these two could do it.
  4. I have been a "Max has to go guy", but even I am thinking he may be someone to keep. Larnach was my preferred player, but maybe they can flip him instead. Kepler has pushed himself into a good spot that makes this decision much more difficult, and that is a good thing for Twins fans as we push towards the postseason. I am not delusional and think we can win it all, but with the quality of pitching we have and a lineup that is awaking - just get in and we have a punchers shot at an upset.
  5. I think you will see Lewis as the new CF in 2024. Martin and Miranda will be used for trades in the off season.
  6. I am expecting either Hernandez from Seattle or Bader from NY. Bader and Peralta from NYY for Larnach is a possibility. Other option is a shocker and would create some real buzz - Polanco, Larnach, Gray or Maeda, Martin to STL for Goldschimdt
  7. I would not trade both, but one of them could be flipped
  8. Lopez will have good numbers as he is with his family. I appreciate the Twins making this move for him. Gallo out and Larnach up is an upgrade on offense. Would like to see Larnach, Martin, Gordon, Maeda/Gray, Miranda, SWR used in some trade deal
  9. Agree on the backlash in trading Miranda last year. This year, not as much.
  10. Hindsight is always dangerous. The Jorge Lopez trade last year was one most liked. Noone say Cano coming. The Mahle trade was well recieved at the time. We have a logjam now, so Steer and CES would be here at the expense of who? Looking back putting Miranda and Gordon in the trade would have been better.
  11. I completely agree with this. Those wanting a big trade, remember that someone has to go for a new face to come in.
  12. Send Winder back down and bring up Dallas and go to a 6 man rotation for a turn, then replace Sands with another BP arm.
  13. I have been won over and prefer we keep Wallner, but what will happen by Friday with Polanco and Buxton coming back? Are there moves happening today to free up roster space? Gallo was pulled yesterday for an illness so I could see him hitting the IL, but then who? It has to be Larnach or Wallner right? A trade would put someone on our ML Roster so maybe it will be a two for one?
  14. Gordon shouldn't see Target Field again.
  15. If you don't carry over the horrid year from Pagan last year, he has been pretty solid in '23
  16. I believe Miranda may have some upside, but 3B is for Lewis in the future and Lee is coming as well. He will need to go. I would also like to see Kepler traded
  17. Jose Miranda
  18. He won't be up if we land Candeleria from the Nats
  19. I would agree with the fact he has earned the FA attempt and should try and get that final payday. To be clear, I think any offer the Twins make will have to be significantly above others in $$ or years for him to come back and be a 5-6 inning pitcher every start
  20. Rocco is the reason that Sony won't even entertain a new contract with the Twins. Needs a longer leash for sure - he of any of the SP has earned it. The short leash, weakens the overall bullpen and keeps the train going back and forth from St. Paul. Rocco needs to have more trust in the SP and how they feel and not the numbers on a sheet.
  21. Chapman from KC would be a great get - but he gets more expensive the closer the deadline gets. KC is in a major rebuild and maybe a couple of low level prospects might do the trick - waiting until the end of July and the talent required to get him will be much higher
