  1. Hernandez on the pitching side and possibly Camairgo on the other side
  2. I don't disagree. Varland has to accept this as well, or we have a disgruntled player. I would like to keep him and go with something I proposed the other day. Duran for Casas and slot Jax as the closer.
  3. Maybe Varland still wants to start and they trade him for a PTBNL so he gets his wish
  4. THe money saved with moving Vasquez is great, but the gain on the field isn't worth it until someone in St. Paul proves worthy. Paddack I am 50/50 on - but the $$$ saved is the positive side. I would like a big splash - but that means Lee, Larnach, SWR, Miranda, Keachall are moved. I am good with any/all - but we need controllable assets and a RH BAT
  5. not unless they would get Cease to sign an extension
  6. The cost for Cease will be Wallner, SWR and Vasquez - I say no unless an extension is signed
  7. If keaschall is thought to be that good - how about we trade Lee
  8. That weakens the team. Correa is the best SS we have and you want to move him to 3rd and be replaced by three players that should start in St. Paul.
  9. I would love them to use Lee in a package to send to Seatle for any of their starters other than Castillo.
  10. SWR deserves the 4th spot - and then a fight for #5. I prefer Festa starting in St. Paul and putting Paddock there until he is traded. Acquiring a mid rotation arm would be best to push SWR to the 5th spot.
  11. That is what we are all hoping - but reality is he may not be. We need another RH bat
  12. If we could get one of those young starters, not Castillo, from Seattle - they can have Royce
  13. Teams should always listen, doesn't mean he is being shopped. I would prefer a Lee trade.
  14. I want them to match up with Seattle again and bring in one of their arms. Send them Miranda and Lee - Woo, Kirby, or Gilbert; just not Castillo
  15. That is not a good DH/Bench situation as all are minor league players currently. Admit you made a mistake and send Larnach and whatever to Cincy for Steer. You get a corner infielder, LF and a right handed hitter
  16. They did not lose in letting Rosario go - yes he had a 15 minutes of fame in the postseason - but other than that, not much
  17. Why do I see so much infatuation with Lee? The question to ask for the right now. Is he worth more to us in a trade or waiting for potential? Prospects are 50/50 iffy. I would make Lee, Festa and Zebby available and see what we can get.
  18. Give it a shot - can always revert to a BP role. Varland is an example of a below average starter, but excels in the pen
  19. I get he wants to start, but his money will be made in the BP - just like Varland. I would rather trade Dhuran. How about Dhuran, Lee and Julien for Crochet? Won't happen in the division, but I would do that trade all day
  20. If Lee, Martin, Helman and Kiersay are all on the opening day lineup we are in trouble. I would like them all to be traded. We are hanging on to prospects way too long and not enough prove to be Major League regulars.
