    What are your thoughts on the Ohtani rule (pitcher can stay in as dh) and the ghost runner? Not sure I like the first one. It only applies to one guy. I'm ok with the ghost runner to keep games from going into 15-18 innings, but maybe they should not start it until after one inning, or maybe the 12...

    The Maeda and Lewis injuries are what really threw wrenches into their plans apparently. They have now effectively countered the Lewis injury, it's the Maeda injury that still haunts this team. I have no expectation of seeing him this year.

    I went with a "B" because it could very well be just one and done. Who knows if anyone will be ready or capable to step in next year and we're right back to square one.

    Statistics are history. You can learn from it, But it can't help you predict future events, no matter how hard the 6-sigma gurus try to make you believe it does. I've lived over 22,000 consecutive days without dying, it doesn't mean I won't.

    I don't see them keeping Miranda as a backup. Back to AAA, trade, or start. I think they keep Gordon.

    Not a fan of the pitch clock, but also not a fan of watching someone like Alexander Colome get the ball back from the catcher, take off his hat, wipe his forehead, replace his cap, massage the baseball all while checking the sky in case Skylab is falling, finally looking to the catcher, deep inhale, exhale, shake off the catcher, wipe his cheek with his shoulder, nod the catcher, exhale again, step to the rubber and finally begin his windup....

    I see quite a few touting Miranda as a solid backup. A) triple A success doesn't mean he can handle major league pitching. That needs to be proven B ) they are not going to keep him here to sit on the bench. He either starts or they move him Just the opinion of an old guy

    They'll get production one way or another. I miss Cruz like crazy but I don't miss wasting a roster spot for a guy that can't play defense. We may already have guys playing defense that can't play defense...

    This is a "hey I believed in him when I drafted him, I feel an attachment" signing. He'll go to AAA and maybe something clicks. Or not. Either way it doesn't cost much.

    The best part about getting old is waking up every two hours because you have to check to see that --  they signed Corea!!!
