  1. Well at least we won the Jorge Alcala trade
  2. Twins needed length from a struggling SWR and the defense let him down. Lewis and Correa errors caused extra pitches but SWR snuk through. Then Buxton's drop. You can't keep giving extra bases and not expect the worst to catch up to you. SWR has a better chance to get through 5 with only a couple runs given up with clean play and without all those extra pitches.
  3. I understand mathmatically it will be hard for the Twins to miss the playoffs, but I thnk they can do it.
  4. Seemed like Twins offense of earlier in the year. Just absolutly refused to change approach through out the game. Also, Cards exposed Festa in the run game hard. And they cashed in every time.
  5. Low attendance is just the latest thing. Dr Pepper over taking Pepsi s as the #2 brand in the country. The price of snacks going down. The Pohlads are losing money hand over fist in all their investments. It’s clearly why they pocketed the cash from the renewed Ballys contract. Gotta prop up that personal wealth.
  6. Twins fianlly won when Cleveland lost! Gleeman was wrong. The Guardians are the Boogyman, lurking.
  7. On th radio it sounds like the outfield doesn't know what base to throw to. Could have given up 1-2 less runs. Rocco's got to be losing his mind over that. Could really use Buxton out there. I also bet the Fo is rethinking not signing Taylor.
  8. Unreal. Why let Alcala start the inning. It’s like Rocco wants him to fail. Not a two inning guy. If you wanted to pack it in just stick with Okert.
  9. Listen on AM 830 or the Audicy App. Radio has been my primary form of game Twins game consumption for years. Chris Attaberry is great and I've alsways preferred him to Provis so I'm enjoing the full time change. Provis and Gladden had a fun relationship to listen to but Attaberry is far better at call actual game action and is more colorful, IMO. I remember listening ot him call an inning solo once a few years back (Gladden must have been taking a dump or something) and it was amazing.
  10. I see a Tiger team that’s taken every advantage given to them in 5 games cashing in on Twins mistakes. The twins do not.
  11. Kep spent 2.5 years terrible at the plate. He had to be scoldedmid-year to start preparing like a big leaguer to start performing in 2023. I think that's a pretty good indication of his work ethic. Prime for regression. Value high. Trade him, now.
  12. I would love to see one mid-week night game on local TV, Fox 9+ or 45 or somthing like that (streaming and everything else, sure). Broadcast in the five state area (Twins Territory). I think this would be enough to generate interest and get newer and younger fans to the Twins. If more games are televised, say one a series, now you grow MLB fans because those new Twins fans see not only the Twins but all other 29 teams once or twince a year. One free game a week I think would grow base by saciating the casual fan and wetting the appetite for those who will go find and pay for it. I don't think cramming streaming down ones throat through one pay service or another is the way to go w/o a minimalist free option. On the side, I'm a big radio fan and think more could be done to promote that medium.
  13. I get it. We want baserunners. But Royce can't run and everyone knows it now. There is a better chance Rocco pinch runs for him after the first walk. This way you don't saddle trail runners or waste a bench player too early.
  14. Lewis won't see another good pitch for the rest of the series. I say Castro to 3b, Polonco to 2b, Julien DH. Use Lewis as the big bat of the bench.
  15. I really like this Marlins POV article. Nice work. Very interesting to see how the other side feels about a deal that has no clear winner (yet). Have you done this before? I know not every trade would be as interesting but I this is great.
  16. Not sure how vesting and options work but I say pick up the $10.5 M and look to trade this off season. I'd think his value will be up if he finishes the year on a healthy note. W/ Correa locked up and a lot of talented young infileders either in the bigs or on the doorstep, it feels a solid move. Dude's a pro hitter. I'd miss him for sure.
  17. Seems like all these reviews were base on the swing. Whether it was the Twins Org or Lewis himself, he ditched the leg kick. He is fairly quiet at the plate. Were there any prospect reviews after this happedned that were more encouraging?
  18. Provis kills me making each game sound like the opposing pitcher has acceptional stuff striking everone out. I wonder how many vey marginal pitchers have had their best K totals this year against the Twins.
  19. I'm still giving Correa the benefit of the doubt. Teams were lining up to give him a lot of money. His performance is disappointing and surely a part of our offensive woes but he more than the others has the ability to adjust. His position in the lineup should change, temporarily at least, as the prolonged slump warrants it. The other three on your list were "in your face" obvious and likely to happen.
