  1. He will do it but not next year. Very glad to be able to watch him for many years.
  2. He earned the chance to go to AAA and keep his career going.
  3. Yep. People continually underestimate Milone because he doesn't throw hard. If you objectively look at his results he is a pitcher of value.
  4. I am not greatly bothered that we kept Plouffe and moved Sano. This gives us the best chance to improve our offense for 2016. Now when it hinders our ability to have Kepler in right next year I will be in complete disagreement.
  5. It sounds to me that May is deciding his pitch selection....
  6. You have accurately assessed the situation!
  7. Murphy has just as good a chance to be a gold glover as hicks. If he were still with the Twins he would be the second best defensive center fielder on the roster.
  8. Murphy has just as good a chance to be a gold glover as hicks. If he were still with the Twins he would be the second best defensive center fielder on the roster.
  9. The million dollar question is what 10 starts last year mean this year.
  10. No way it is May. As much as people want to criticize the Twins, no way does he have that role.
  11. He's starting to get a few hits so he's your starter.
  12. Actually I hope he starts hitting so he can start for the Twins. He's already better defensively
  13. I disagree that Duffy is a lock. People are giving way to much credit to a relatively short stretch of success last year. Milone was arguably the Twins best pitcher last year. The battle is between Nolasco and Duffy
  14. If there is cluster luck shouldn't there be cluster "unluck" that might offset it. How many times did the Twins get a bunch of hits but due to bad luck not score many runs?
  15. Not at all. There are plenty of spring training at bats for everyone. Plus anybody on the 40 man that isn't in contention (Kepler abw) is going to be sent to minor league camp ASAP so they don't risk injury and MLB service time on the MLB DL. This whole thing is a non story; most clubs do it just to see if they catch lighting in a bottle not because they are planning on them.
  16. This is correct. Eddie does lots of things that stats don't always capture.
  17. Experience is a big factor. Successful big league players learn and get better. We will s=e if that is Eddie.
  18. By the 4th of July I hope our outfield from left to right is rosario, Buxton and Kepler with Sano at third. Trevor can be traded or move around but his presence shouldn't dictate the lineup
  19. I guess this makes two. Who the hell is Meatsauce and why should we be interested?
  20. He's not going anywhere as he has an option left. Don't worry about it if he rakes in Rochester he'll get his chance.
  21. I don't know Chief if you have to give a multi year contract who will block a valued prospect kind of ties your hands, no?
  22. Not to pile on but it's quite common for young hitters to struggle adjusting to a mlb breaking ball. It took Torii about three years.
  23. There are many ways to construct a lineup. I think the biggest factor is each guy has to contribute something (power speed obp). When you have multiple guys in the lineup that don't do anything well and strikeout a lot your offense is going to sputter.
  24. Hold on here, I thought it was well documented the Twins brainwashed all their hitters to go the other way?
