    I think things are setting up nicely for the Twins. Buxton et al need to be in AAA for another 6 weeks which should coincide nicely with a Plouffe trade. If Polanco does well in Rochester I would move Dozier as well. Kepler and Polanco add some badly needed obp and your outfield defense is fixed.

    Agreed. The idea that he should be called up after a few good weeks is short sighted.

    I think the whole age thing is overblown. You need good players not just young players. Remember the Stahoviak Becker era?

    Thank you this. Molitor job is to win games now, not develop minor leaguers. You get one baseball season per year and you fight like hell for each game at least until July.

    I think Berrios still needs a few more starts to show that he is done with AAA but he has been about as consistent with his success as any prospect I've seen. If someone doesn't get hurt I would make a spot for him soon. Surprisingly the spot he might take is gibsons

    I think is interesting that Jay throwing 94 on his 93rd pitch is a big deal when the rest of his line wasn't good. And that he used 93 pitches to get through 5 innings.
