    82-80, no Division title and no wild card. I am concerned about injuries and the lack of pitching depth. Hope I am quite wrong!

    Louie getting rocked by the Braves. 6 ER and 2 Dingers in less than 4 innings. Quite concerned about this team. Very nice to see Wallner connect.

    Yep, getting concerned about whether this team is gonig to be any good. Look sub-500 to me so far. Mediocre and injured pitching staff, lots of K's and empty AB's from the hitting side. Fielding has been poor, too. Otherwise, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

    Alcala needs to go to AAA and figure out how to pitch again. He looks terrible out there.

    Can Margot hit? Or is he strictly a platoon player vs. lefties? .079 batting average, with quite a few AB's? Looks like he could be another bargain basement bust by the Twins FO......

    He and Miranda are the Twins best 2 hitters in spring training. Wallner needs to go to AAA to figure things out perhaps. Miranda and Lee may force some interesting decisions for the Twins.

    Got smacked around by the Yankee minor leaguers today.....

    Twins outscorered 40-19 so far in ST. A third of the Twins runs were in one late inning where they walked in 3 runs. They look terrible so far. Not time to panic, but I am growing concerned.....

    Hope they are light on Kepler and Castro--all of the Twins actually!--but those projections seem modest for those 2.

    Yep, Ryan, MLB trade values is way off. On the other hand, he has a high salary, is not pitching until 2025, and any return from TJS is an uncertainty. Obviously not available on a fire sale, but I would expect a lesser return than someone like Luzardo, no?

    Soler and Duvall appear to be the FA's that might fit, shorter deals and good bats. I don't see the Twins paying for one of the top FA SP's, but I also did not see the Correa signings coming either.

    Seems a solid, practical move. We had an excess, and they had a need. I wonder if this perhaps means one of our existing, controllable bullpen pieces may be heading out in a package for a SP????

    To the Marlins' folks, is there ANY chance they move Alcantara to avoid his salary and uncertain recovery? Any rumblings along those lines? I would love the Twins to play the long game and try to acquire him.....

    A bold move would be to sacrifice one of your top prospects like Lee to improve the SP rotation at the MLB level. Obviously the value has to be there, but it is bold as it entails risk that you may not win or equalize the trade in the long run. Still hoping they explore this, or else perhaps a pillow contract for one of the remaining good FA starting pitchers who may get hung out to dry.

    I would not be surprised to see him flipped if the Twins make a move for some more pitching. He seems to be a bit of a boom or bust type of prospect. Hope he does well!
