    The time to "shuffle" the lineup was during the offseason when they decided to reduce payroll 20% and made mediocre signings and traded away a decent hitter for an old, lame-armed pitcher who was being paid by 2 different organizations to just go away and a bullpen arm and a prospect. Why the Twins were projected to win the division is a mystery. Regression was inevitable.

    Well, another 0-11 with RISP in today's offensive gem. At least it was quick. I am getting quite alarmed over this O's inability to generate runs. Twins now 0-25 in last 2.5 games, and 9 for 72 for the season, an incredibly inept .125 BA with RISP. Please let me know when a SSS becomes a major problem, ok?

    They did not hit well in ST, either, but everyone poo-poo'ed that and said everyone was "working on something." I, at least, am quite concerned about their lack of offense.

    In 2023, the MLB average batting average with RISP was .258. The Twins hit .252. Not good, but not terrible. So far in 2024, they are hitting .148, 9 for 61. Whoof! You would think and hope this would regress to the mean, but the Twins are really, really struggling after a brutal 0 for 12 in today's game. They certainly miss Royce Lewis, as he seems to perform very well in that situation.

    Does Kepler have options? He needs a stint at AAA to get straightened out unless he gets going in the balance of this series. He is not helping at all right now, obviously.

    Sheesh. Burnes 6 innings, 1 hit (a Trout dinger), and 11 K's. Guess we did not need him! Sano 0-2 with 2 K's, as expected.

    82-80, no Division title and no wild card. I am concerned about injuries and the lack of pitching depth. Hope I am quite wrong!

    Louie getting rocked by the Braves. 6 ER and 2 Dingers in less than 4 innings. Quite concerned about this team. Very nice to see Wallner connect.

    Yep, getting concerned about whether this team is gonig to be any good. Look sub-500 to me so far. Mediocre and injured pitching staff, lots of K's and empty AB's from the hitting side. Fielding has been poor, too. Otherwise, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

    Alcala needs to go to AAA and figure out how to pitch again. He looks terrible out there.

    Can Margot hit? Or is he strictly a platoon player vs. lefties? .079 batting average, with quite a few AB's? Looks like he could be another bargain basement bust by the Twins FO......

    He and Miranda are the Twins best 2 hitters in spring training. Wallner needs to go to AAA to figure things out perhaps. Miranda and Lee may force some interesting decisions for the Twins.

    Got smacked around by the Yankee minor leaguers today.....

    Twins outscorered 40-19 so far in ST. A third of the Twins runs were in one late inning where they walked in 3 runs. They look terrible so far. Not time to panic, but I am growing concerned.....
