    I like it that the Twins HOF is exclusive. Every member currently in the Twins HoF deserves their place. I have no objection to any of the 3 suggestions you made, but I'd like to see Joe Nathan also get a nod. ps. Baker, Liriano, Kubel, Cuddyer & Guardado should also be considered.

    The "hand-wringers" will always be there. This sounds a lot like the Maeda comments. Lets hope that Maeda produces as well as Oderizzi has for the Twins.

    Overall I'd rate this offseason as a C+ . The pitching gets a C+ for retaining Jake, Big Mike & Romo. Otherwise there is much to be negative about. The hitting grade gets only a C+ from me because, although Donaldson has been a great hitter, he is 34 years old and we hardly need another bat. Maybe Cruz van teach him a few tricks on how to hit past 35, but that seems to be a rare talant.

    In my seldom humble opinion, a Designated Hitter needs to have transcendent stats to gain the HoF. Cruz has been very very good, but not transcendent.

    I love playing Rookies if they can hit. A hate playing Rookies when they make base-running mistakes or throw to the wrong base. If I was a high impact starting pitcher and looked at the Twins defense, I'd probably find somewhere else to play (all things being equal). Play the Rookies ? Give them a try, if they seem mature enough to handle it, otherwise let them continue to learn in the minors. After all, there must be a reason they've done it that way all these years.

    Until Buxton proves he can handle the #3 position, they should bat Buxton either 1st or last. Let his speed come just before our best hitters.

    Twins need an assistant pitching coach ? What happened to Everyday Eddie ?

    All we can do is wait and hope or trade his "flawed swing" for a pitcher and wait for him to come back and haunt us.

    I want Big Mike back. I don't care about the suspension. Those rules are obscure and archaic and outmoded. They are culturally bias'd and sporadically enforced. Outside of that, there is nothing wrong with getting suspended by MLB. Where have you gone, Barry Bonds, now that we need you?

    I remember with fondness the way #33 used to hit line drives to the alleys (sometimes for home runs). He was a treat to watch and now he is a treat to listen to. He has become (by far) my favorite of the current rotation of commentators on the TV broadcast.

    Seeing Schoop play 2b made me wonder why he wasn't a Thirdbaseman ? He has a wonderful arm and seems to be quick enough for the hot corner. If I was a team looking for a solid hitting 2nd or 3rd baseman, I'd give Schoop a call.
