    "Crushed their fans"? Not in the least! Twins were sub .500 with Arraez! Plus he could not steal bases Ichiro turned 400 of his singles into doubles Not Arraez! Had to get pitching!! Great move.

    It is just to bad nobody ever took the time to teach Buxton how to play the wall. Some say it can't be done with a player like Buxton. Not true. When Ron Leflore came out of prison and played for Detroit he ran into the wall or flagpole in center every other day. They worked with him every day and he figured it out. Buxton could have done it but instead he didn't get the help and got all the injuries that now make him a shell of what he could have been! And now the league may have figured him out with cutters and change-ups. He was looking like Sano the last half!! With the new CF from KC it looks like Buxton will be the DH. Maybe it will work.

    The trade makes perfect sense if it results in obtaining a quality pitcher! Arraez has no real position and will not help the Twins get any better than a .500 Club! A quality Starter has the chance to have a larger impact!

    One thing I forgot to mention about Rocco or it may be more about Gardenhire in St. Paul is the lack of improvement in teaching the kids how to play the wall! Not one of them show any knowledge in that area. Buxton has improved a little and Kepler is good. But the others? Disaster. Larnach - Totally lost. Celestino? Speed - but playing the wall - forget it. Kiroloff at First Base: Shys away from the wall every time. It is known Rocco is a players manager but can't he still demand they get out there before or after games and learn their profession?

    Someone has been smoking that whacky tobacky! If you think you can put Rocco and the word great in the same sentence you are delusional!! Yes, they use the numbers to make decisions but you still need to have a feel for the game and know when to over-ride those numbers. Rocco can't do that. Ask Dave St. Peter if he thinks Rocco is great as St. Peter sees ticket sales continue to slide into the dumpster. Great Managers inspire their fan bases. Rocco does the opposite! "Great"? How amusing,!

    No doubt the Pitchers are the most important. Remember we already had poor pitching down the stretch and now with the shift change even more hits will get through!!

    "Depth"? Quite amusing. There is very little "QUALITY" depth on the roster. When you lose one of the best Left-Sides in baseball for 2022 and the answer is Miranda and Farmer that is not Depth. In the outfield with Buxton now a 2 game a week player, where is the quality depth for him? Larnach is like Sano. The league figured out he can't hit a breaking ball and his defense is atrocious. 3 feet to his left and 3 feet to his right. And playing the wall? Forget it. And HEALTHY Pitching? Not much depth there either. So look again when evaluating the front office Whiz Kids. They got DRAMATICALLY out-maneuvered this off season with Free Agents and Trades.

    Definitely needs to be in St. Paul! Has speed but no clue on how to play a wall (Just like all the young Twin Outfielders). Could be a future backup.

    The FACTS are not good for Larnach! The League has figured out he has no clue on how to hit any type of breaking ball. Him and Gallo together would be a disaster!! Plus the fact that he can cover 3 feet to his left and 3 feet to his right and has no idea on how to play a fence means it is time to move on!

    Ted Ted Ted! No team has gone very far without an Ace! Especially in the playoffs. And why we kept Pagan is a Mystery! Gallo is just another Sano. Boobirds will be out by May 15 as he leads the league in K's! Plus with the new shift rule if Twins trade Kepler he will gain 30 pts in avg and be solid for another team. Fix pitching or it will be a .sub .500 club.

    Your comment that he gets "No lift" and that's why the new shift rule won't help is absurd. That's exactly why IT WILL help! There will be more space for ground balls to get through. He will gain 30 points on his average!!!

    6 players vying for the 5 spot? How amusing. Every pitcher is vying for the 4 or 5th spot!! We need a 1, 2 and 3 spot pitcher. And the people that keep throwing Larnach in as trade bait must not have been watching games! His range is 3 feet either way in the outfield and the league figured out he can't hit a curve ball! Just like Sano!! He has little value. And for those asking why trade a Batting Champion? Because a singles hitting batting champion does not win you the division. Use him to get PITCHING that CAN win you a division!!

    HOF - Yes. First Ballot No. Tough for a singles hitter who couldn't produce a long ball when team needed it to be a First Ballot.

    Please, Please stop with the Larnach in Left routine. In the field his range is lousy and he has no clue on how to play the fence. And at the plate the league has figured out he can't hit any kind of breaking ball. Just as bad as Sano!! As for Kepler the new Shift rule will add 30 points to his average. Only trade him if it is a package that brings in an Ace. A REAL Ace! Otherwise without pitching just trade them all for picks and move Saints to Mpls!! Won't win without pitching upgrades!!

    Amazing that so many don't understand what the change in the Shift Rule will mean to Kepler. Probably 30 points on his average! Then you got a gold glove outfielder with an above average batting average at a good contract value. Put Gallo in left where all those guys have struggled. Larnach can't hit a breaking ball like Sano. So put him in St Paul and see if they can fix him.

    Important comment was how Pagan demoralized his team. When Twins re-signed him that may have signaled Correa the Twins were not serious about winning!!

    Obvious new CEO Joe Pohlad was given one directive as he was given the reins. Don't overspend and keep payroll under last year's. Make a profit under circumstance! So far A+!

    Glen is a 100% Twins Apologist. So please no questions about why the Twins had such an abysmal off-season in trying to improve the club. He will spew only the Twins line that 'Everything is fine" and "They tried the best they could"!!

    "It was somewhat understandable? That's funny! Every Twin fan with an ounce of sense knew it was going to happen exactly the way it did! The number would go high and the Twins would say "We tried"! But the sad part is even tho everyone could see what was happening the FO stood by hoping for a miracle on Correa while all the pitching they so sorely needed was scooped up. Now they are a worse team than last year. The Whiz Kids got played and failed;!
