    Ok article but you miss one HUGE piece. There has RARELY been a team to win a playoff series without an Ace. So if you are fine with winning a few games and maybe a Div. Title but having NO CHANCE in the playoffs, then Falvey, Levine and Pohlad can remain your Heroes!!

    Crazy article. The Twins are NOT going to pay the younger Pitchers on your list who are in the midst of their best seasons just like they wouldn't pay Berrios! Why even talk about those guys? They are going to try Farm guys who are not ready or they will get broken down Tommy John guys and hope to revive them. That's the Twins way, Save a Buck is number one rule. We all know that! Stop dreaming.

    Docbauer: One big disappointment has been hitting coach. Sano has reverted back to old ways. Guys in the booth see it. All say until he uses all fields he will remain the strike out king. Larnach is now striking out at an alarming rate. Where is the coach? Plus not one of the call-ups know how to play a fence! Not Larnach, not Centirino and not our first basemen. None seem to have been taught to find the fence with their off arm and then find the ball! Where is St Paul coaching on that? And why doesn't Rocco at least address the poor fielding one in awhile? Just keeps blaming injuries and staring into his binder in the dugout! Stop that. Get mad once in awhile. Let players know there are consequences for poor play in the field. It appears to be a country club atmosphere!

    Why is it the Whiz Kids in the front office seem to always need to get pitchers coming off Tommy John surgery? It hasn't worked out in the last 5 tries. Why continue down that path?

    Rocco seems so distant from everything! Always staring into that stupid binder of his in the dugout to see what his next move should be! He never shows any emotion or gets upset over anything! Maybe he should be questioning why NONE of the kids coming up have any clue on how to play the fence. Put your off hand out, find the fence, then catch the ball. NONE of the young guys from Kiroloff, to any of the young outfielders have shown any knowledge of how to do that. Has Rocco said anything to young Mr. Gardenhire in St Paul about this lack of readiness? Or is that not in his binder?

    "Lockdown Arm"? Huh? Who evaluated that term- Falvey? Even Taylors outs are hard hit. Dynamic Duo needs to stop with the "Hope we can get Pitchers off the scrap heap" routine and get an Authentic Pitcher to help Berrios! They act like Vikes saving money on the O-Line! Results prove being stingy won't get you to or deep into playoffs. But since Club is profitable winning comes 2nd.

    Not Rocco's fault? He sits in dugout looking at his darn binder instead of managing. How about teaching the kids how to play a fence? Not one of them knows how. All of them shy away from the wall or crash into it. Kiriloff shying away and letting that foul drop to allow winning run later was embarrassing. But all the kids do it. Rocco or staff should be out pre game teaching this skill that should have already been taught! Plus the Whiz Kids theory of doing it with cheap retread pitchers is being exposed as folly!

    You forgot one key item for the two Whiz Kids! The ridiculous Mauer contract (For a team like the Twins) ended the year they came. They used that contract to bring in 4 major league players. The result? They won. Now that they have to continue the process they have proven to be mediocre. The minors are a mess. No pitching help there and look what we are using in CF!

    I would not mention Rogers in the same sentence as Nathan or Perkins or Aggie. He has never had that "Killer" instinct. You never get the feeling the inning or game is over like you do with a real closer!

    Most absurd article I have read in a long time!! The guy has been given every chance in the world. Every time he strikes out 5 times in a row people say: "Oh that's OK we can't trade him because he might be the next Big Papi"! How many years do we have to hear that? Time to move on!

    What stands out to me and Simmons is a prime example are all the easy outs the Twins make. Always lunging for balls or doing little wrist flip swings. We need to open the wallet and get the hitting coach back we had during the Boomba days! Never should have let him walk for a few dollars!!

    Baldelli needs to throw that dang notebook he has his nose in all the time away! Last week he was asked why he brought Waddell back the 2nd night after he got pounded the night before.? He said because of who was coming up. What? Garcia who went deep off Waddell was in the on-deck circle. And he did it again! Rocco's notebook must have been on the wrong page which is what he seems to be sometimes! Bet the Whiz Kids in front office miss Trevor Mays current 1.26 ERA. BUT, he throws to hard for the Twins liking anyway!

    Nope. Twins took a huge hit last year missing fans in the stands. Now they need as many as possible. Buxton and Berrios bring fans in. They ain't going anywhere!

    Donaldson is by far the biggest mistake the Whiz Kids have made. Paying Top Dollar for known damaged goods is just not good business and will hurt the team for years to come by tying up needed dollars for other needs! (Just like Mauers contract did for 10 years)!

    "Has evolved and improved since 2018"! Really? How many more Playoff wins? May want to rethink the "Evolved and improved" line. Playing on the edges will never improve the Playoff record. Must get serious and get an Ace and more than .200 hitters with a few home runs. Plus loss of Rosario who could Run, Hit and Throw is a bigger mistake than most are realizing. Plus he added excitement to the lineup.

    Good article but why does it have to be written every single year!! What players are "Left over" for the Twins? What 5.0 Era guy can we get. What Tommy John guy is available? Just one year can't we go get an Ace? Rarely does a Playoff team win without an Ace!

    Great article! Very Fair. With Rosario gone we need someone to add some fun to the team and Clubhouse. Plus a great Winter League is a plus. That is a high quality league.

    Cave does seem to be headed in wrong direction. Especially in clutch at-bats. Seems like automatic out when we need him the most.

    Loved the Sergio Pre-Game T-Shirts!! Not like the Twins to allow that given the circumstances but was great to see. Nice change.
