    Out of the four catchers, GArver, Jeffers, Rortvedt and Sanchez, Sanchez is the best this year. Do stolen bases maybe not matter as much as we think? The FO really doesn’t seem too concerned about it.

    I’m happy to learn the Twins are back in the playoffs! Whoo-Hoo! I didn’t realize other teams could be mathematically eliminated in May, but Whoo-Hoo! By his own account, Correa wants to stay here on a longer contract. It’s been very difficult to get ANY top FA to come to MN. I say keep him as long as he wants to stay.

    He’s a one tool A+ player. He can hit. He could have easily been charged with 3 errors last night. He should be the 3rd or fourth option at any defensive position. Should probably sell high.

    What does it do for the rotation? It adds one more guy to compete for the 5th starter job. The Twins are starting the season with a #3 as the ace and four #4-5 guys. Unfortunately, I think they are done. I think they took a flyer on Archer after the trade market was ridiculously expensive. If they’re close, get a guy at deadline.

    I think the FO has prioritized a one knee down approach. The metrics must bear out that stolen bases aren’t that bad in the big scheme of things.

    Grade this trade: Twins trade GArver, Donaldson, Rortvedt, IKF and a 1st round draft pick for Gary Sanchez Sonny Gray and Gio Urshela.

    Well, this didn’t age well, as they just traded away our starting 3b and Ss as well as our backup catcher. To be fair, they may not be done…

    I think the two major problems are that the owner’s refuse to open the books and the PA aren’t representing ALL players.

    Buxton won an MVP?? When? Or are we talking about a different MVP that he won when he was NOT playing baseball? Did we learn nothing from the Mauer contract? Apparently the FO did.

    I think Berríos got a shock once he started negotiating with Toronto. I think when he was still here, he was looking for $25M AAV.

    I love all the people on here. “We can’t trade Buxton, his value has never been lower”! Same people: “If they don’t give Buxton $30m+ AAV, the FO is crazy and should be fired.

    Buxton agreed to a 7 year $80m contract? Hurray! Here I thought he wanted $25-30M AAV.
