  1. Bradley could win the Cy Young, and all it would prove is a broken lock is right twice a day.
  2. “Anyone watching could tell the actual turnout was lighter than that.” The gate was UNDER 3000!!!
  3. This may be the worst defensive team the Twins have ever run out there. Certainly in my lifetime.
  4. In the positions of need, you missed a few. C-Jeffers is league average at best. (But hey, that IS MLB caliber!) First- No one on the roster can field it. 2B- Unproven. 3B- Lewis has been a liability the past 1.5 years. SS- No one on the roster can field or hit. LF-Wallner is league average, but you want him to DH/1B? He’s one of 3 MLB players on the squad, but in LF. CF- Only above average position player on the team- when he’s healthy… RF-No one here can hit. DH-Bell, I guess? Where is this “Core” they’re supposed to be building around???
  5. Another “fringe major leaguer”. He’ll fit right in on this team.
  6. 1. Probably 2. Who cares. 3. You only really NEED a closer if you expect to have late inning leads. 4. I’m sure all the Pohlad’s eggs are in the Clemen’s basket.
  7. You think they can compete WITH those players???🤣🤣🤣
  8. There’s at least 11 position players that would likely easily make it through waivers. Buxton, Jeffers (😬) and Lewis (😳) and maybe Wallner are the only real MLB locks. Just about anyone else (minus a few rookies who haven’t burned their bridges yet) would struggle to remain on any average to good team’s 26. Then the pitching 🙄. Given the way things are shaping up, it looks more and more likely that Lopez, Ryan and maybe Ober are going to be salary sacrifices. As long as they take Falvey with them…
  9. This sounds like the same game they’ve been preaching for years. The reason they are signing bargain bin veterans is: the prospects coming up aren’t talented enough to play in MLB, or they stop progressing once they reach MLB. Not sure if just throwing the young guys out there to lose 100 games is the solution, but hey, we haven’t tried that in a while!
  10. You could write the same article for Kiriloff, Lewis and Larnach. Minnesota Twins: where prospects go to die.
  11. That seems like a pretty poor record. It doesn’t have much value without context.
  12. Who hired Falvey, and who continues to employ him? Ownership!
  13. Some of us pointed out the similarities between Rocco and Shelton. Thanks Eric for taking the time to write it. It sure sounds like we will get more of Falvey’s cooking with a new but similar helper.
