After two innings, one run? Um, crunching the numbers... 4.50 ERA for these two innings... I think it brought his season ERA further down.

 

Note, this is not a prediction of anything to come.

 

But it goes to show the wisdom of starting a season bad - now a 4.50 ERA for two innings shows improvement.
