Can anybody tell me what happens when a player is on the 40 man roster but is in the minor leagues. Are they Free Agents when the season is over ? Does the Twins control them ?

 

We know Worley is a FA next year, but are all these guys FA also ?

 

 

Worley won't be a FA. He'll end the season with fewer than 3 years of major league service time.

 

Any player on the 40-man roster isn't eligible for free agency unless they finish the year with 6+ years of service time.
