We’ve had a bulk RBI guy problem for a long time. Bell is the first player to hit 90 RBI since Polanco knocked in 98 in 2021. 2022-2025 is pathetic looking at the top RBI players on this team. Jose Miranda led the 2022 Twins with 66 RBI for example. Buxton knocked in 83 last year.

Is this for this season? Or for next? Because I have to think Buxton will be healthy to play. 

I wouldn't HATE the idea of looking at Roden being the 1B if he can truly hit well enough. But I do think they will need a new 1B in 2027.

Say what you will about Brooks Lee, but he is about to finish the season with 25 jacks and 85 RBIs while playing solid to above average 3rd base. Love seeing that out of a former 1st round pick who is still only 25 years old. He is probably one of my favorite players on the Twins right now.

Without question the 3B next year. We hope he can take another step and be a 30+ HR guy playing top 10 defense at 3B next year.

He's a keeper and removes 3B from the list of TC problems in '27.

Most improved  by a mile ,they wanted to move him to 3b alot earlier Lewis ruined all that positivity

I don't know if he has the pop in his bat to reach 30 HRs, but I would not be entirely shocked. It is not that big of a jump up from 25. As for the defense I think he could definitely reach that level as soon as 2027. Reminder, this is his first year playing third base and was a shortstop coming into this year. He is, after all named after Brooks Robinson so I see many gold gloves in his future.😀

Yep.  Lots of missed opportunities this year but I'm glad the Twins gave Lee & Lewis (mostly) the full year to see if they were part of the future.  I think we've got answers on both.
