I had a seat close to home plate via seat geek. Seeing his swing and ballplayer construction body framework (if that is a good phrase) is impressive. He is build like a ballplayer and runs/fields well. I honestly was impressed with Emma also and Keasch puts forth the effort. Those are 3 keepers in my view. If they can get Houston up here to connect at short.  Maybe move Culpepper to 2nd.  ...then Lackey at the end of the year.   The Twins have a youth movement that is very possible to be impressive. The challenge is the pitching....

Kremer pitching well. Likely a starter for us at the beginning of next season after the league contract gets settled.

No doubt pitching will be the challenge. I’ve been wondering if there’s a challenge trade to be made for Royce Lewis. MLB player for MLB player that both parties need a change of scenery… The Angels make a lot of sense if the goal is to send Royce closer to home.

Royce is hitting .179 with a .444 OPS in his last 30 games... not sure there's much demand for his services anymore.

If the mutual option is declined (they do almost every time) he’s still got a year of arbitration left. Twins control him for 2027.

#1 overall picks have a very long leash in MLB. Especially if they’ve made it to the big leagues.

I fully agree...he had a good deal of support present yesterday and being a local boy from Orange County makes sense for the Angels. It also would be best for his career to be near his family.  There is some type of mental psyche thing about Lewis..and being near the area may help his future.
