agree...the Dodgers would face it differently than the Twins...

So you have full knowledge of how the Dodgers do it like with Ohtani currently.

This prediction is probably an overstatement. Many players have hip surgery and return to top performance.

...and many don't....it will pretty much depend on the severity of the hip injury....and the surgery...he also is so injury prone...need to understand that he has only played in about 50% of his games since his arrival in 2015...I like the guy...but this idea that he is going to be some superstar that leads the team in 2027...marble in a roulette wheel at the casino..I hope he plays. but it is illogical to think that he will be at a full season in 2027...

Buxton is not Ohtani....note that he is a great pitcher...but the Dodgers are moving away from using him in that category...DH only..rest of year

Based on history, I expect Buxton to be a good to very good player when he is healthy and plays, but to miss a lot of games. The median outcome for his surgery is probably that it will not affect him materially, but he will be a year older and need to adjust to a long layoff, which sometimes takes him longer than the average player. Based on those guesses, I expect him to be an asset to the team and once again worth his contract, but agree with you that the high likelihood that he will miss a lot of games and possibly have recovery issues would make it a mistake to rely on him to be the leader of a successful team.

5-12 against the White Sox since last August. (Including tonight)

Gonna drop Fedde's ERA against us to around 1. And a 5-0 record.

they dont know any better-- Yet   and with a 3 man booth it helps shut him up quicker

They aren’t even putting up a fight.

Clemens is having a great game at the plate. That's it.

Thrilled that Acton is getting this work over Raya

I was surprised to see Raya's numbers at AAA are pretty good, the walks are finally down, the only issue is HRs allowed. So yeah, it is disappointing to see a guy who will probably be DFA'd by the end of the year get these reps instead of him.

Jeffers yes ,   gotta keep playing Walker  or never learn,  to me its long past wins and losses ,  set-up 2027   should be the only thought
