Not to mention, is Luke still playing the deepest CF in the league?  Might more confident positioning have removed the need for a dive at all?

It sure looked like Martin thought he had suddenly gotten an injection of steroids and was capable of heaving the ball all the way to the plate.  Instead, off-line and over the cutoff man - bad combination that allowed the batter to reach second, if I reviewed the video correctly.
