Yes was announced today, and Adams to St Paul. Funderburk and Laweryson called to Pittsburgh.

The obsession with Clemens continues, hitting 3rd and playing CF.  Again why are Kreidler and Outman even on the roster if you are going to play Clemens in CF.  His OPS has dropped .70 points in the last ten days.  He had his hot streak and now is coming back to reality.

A lot of that. Martin has dropped 20 point off his average. Stolen bases have screeched to a halt.

The whole roster construction is so out of whack.  The two guys that are supposed to be up here as backups to Buxton don't play in the field for him.  They treat Clemens as a core player, he needs to play 2-3 days a week.  

We still don't know completely what Martin can do, so I can live with his down streaks.  But we do know what we have in Clemens, Gray, Kreidler, Arcia and Outman. 

I would just like to see some sort of plan, because if this their plan, then it isn't really a plan.

  But we do know what we have in Clemens, Gray, Kreidler, Arcia and Outman. --   Ya zero chance of ever having a good Team  with a Plan --  Clemens as a 2-3  game a week backup i can live with ,  Rest are all  Failed in the bigs,  and  to old to keep running out there either here or A.A.A.  Where all it does is take away from young guys we need to learn about and try to develop,   Show me the plan - something  other than Dumpster Diving every year-  make a few trades ?   Win a few lose a few  ?  but at least it shows fans there trying to upgrade !!   Good luck in Pirate Town !!!!!!!!!!!

I was searching prospect lists trying to see who would trade what for Ryan....weird thing. The best teams actually play rookies, not Josh Bell, and Outman.  The twins have one second year prospect and zero rookies among hitters. Just brutal.

First 7 pitches of the game were all fastballs over 100. Credits to Kody for turning that one around. He was obviously sitting fastball after both batters before him getting nothing but fastballs.

Kody Clemens is never going to be an All-Star, but he defnitely would have a place on most major league rosters. He probably wouldn't play as much as he does with the Twins, but he is around a league average player.

The Pirates have Skenes, Jones, and Chandler all throwing over 100 MPH. They are all young starters who they developed. I don't know what Pittsburgh is doing, but they can sure develop pitchers. (it also helps to have consitently early draft picks)
