mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 10 Posted May 10 anyone asked Royce why he pulls the swing on every pitch n, o matter where its located ? seems so simple to viewers > i.d.k. Patzky 1
hitterscount Verified Member Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Lewis and Wallner can be sent packing any day. If you have enough bodies they can make it a trifecta and add Outman. Enough rewarding incompetence, at least Lewis plays some defense, but you can’t live with the hitting, or lack of.

I have more hope in Funderburk having a future with the team long term than Banda or Rogers. Given the state of the bullpen, usage wise, a fresh arm needed to be brought in and Funderburk is one of the few relievers who has options. My real hope is that Funderburk does his work in St. Paul, focuses his command, and comes back after the minimum stint to replace Banda. For reference, here is the state of the bullpen going into a bullpen game. Adams looks like he will be the bulk guy and then our next most rested reliever is Topa. Unfortunately, Fundy drew the short straw. Funderburk is 29, in his 9th season of pro ball. 271 games, over 540 IP. I don't see a couple weeks in St Paul having much chance of fixing his command issues RpR, hitterscount and Mike Sixel 3

Luke will be okay -all young guys that show alot of talent go thru some kind of struggles , Look back to Brooks , high draft pick took awhile - alot of folks here wanted to get rid of him, Luke i believe will be a better hitter in time , growing pains for sure , i think it will be Luke and Lee for the next 5-6 years in the middle , Heiny and RpR 1 1
