I vote Yea. But I also want Matthews and Klein as one inning guys in the pen to try to fix the high contact issues. Festa joins them if/when healthy.

Bullpen and Funderburk hitting that base runner was key play in the 7th led to an additional run, an underlying  cause of the loss.. Funderburk has decent stuff but he loses focus a lot and does dumb stuff.  Then Brooks Lee whiffs on the ball and Twins give up the Sac fly foe a run. Story of the Twins season last year. This group is ranked 29th on defense in tge league for a reason we can bit j about the offense, strike outs but Twins poor defense bites them again and again. When you have a small margin for error self inflicted errors pile up. Maybe time for the kid in AAA to man shortstop position.  This team doesn't have much injury margin either to key players. Clemmons isn't hitting a lick, not sure why he is on the Twins. Defense not enough for a lack of hitting or on base percentage. A few spots on the Twins could be improved. Keaschall gets a leadoff double, doesn't even move off second base. Twins ugly defense even amongst the nice plays lets them down.

There's going to be days like this. Hopefully not too many but that's being overly optimistic. The bullpen is what it is and it can't be trusted.
