Josh Bell at 9 runs and 7 rbi's on the young season.

Apparently he conferred with Taj Bradley, and discovered that his team can provide him with scouting reports on any opposing players of his choosing!

We are all joking but dude can't keep giving up runs and runners here

Not efficient, but he'll get there.

I hope.

It just blows my mind Taj had never done a scouting report before coming to the Twins.  Tried it his way for a month -  then the coaches said no do it my way.

All seriousness aside I'm sure there is some nuance to the very entertaining story that came out.

Actually it came out once last fall.   He did another interview this spring - basically said he was being stubborn and that he had always pitched without a scouting report.  Had been encouraged to do it before and brushed it off.  I think the trade helped him grow up a bit.

Royce,  albeit a short one, actually threw the ball in the air all the way to first on that play

I think Royce picked up the skill of bouncing balls to 1st from CC.  Correa did that a lot but obviously had quite a bit more control over the delivery than Royce.  Seems like I remember the TV broadcast covered that last year as way to improve Royce's fielding.  I'm not sure he graduated from the class before CC was traded though.

I think we're about due for a meaningless Wallner solo HR.

That would have been the chef's kiss to this game.  But the truth is that he's been better in close games so far this season.  Until today's K-fest, that is.
