Ravens (1-4) - How? Middle of fourth quarter week one I was saying they were the class of the NFL. Insane. I still think they'll make the playoffs because the AFC north is garbage.

Their entire defense is injured and the offense can't function without Lamar. They are near Bengals level with him out of the lineup

Mark Sanchez's time as an NFL analyst is over. I'm not going to link the article but you can google it to find pictures of the 70 year old victim beaten to a pulp by Sanchez.

Hope he's in jail for a very long time.

Man, I'm 100% not going to read the articles about him. What's the 30 second version?

He was in Indy to call the Colts game on Sunday. Got intoxicated and ordered Door Dash. Because he was intoxicated he got angry at the 70 year old delivery guy and fought him. Delivery driver used pepper spray, then resorted to using a knife on Sanchez, because the 70 year old man thought he might be beaten to death by Sanchez.

Sanchez’ agent tried getting ahead of it by claiming Sanchez got robbed and stabbed. Now video evidence is out that he instigated the whole thing and almost killed a Door Dash delivery guy.

His agent can go to hell also.

The Bengals look like the '85 Bears by comparison.

I bet sanchez wishes the butt fumble was the worst thing he ever did again

Just goes to show you never know what kind of demons people are fighting behind closed doors. Sanchez on TV gave the impression he's an even keeled type of guy. Wasn't a hot take machine by any means. But we learned that he has enough anger/rage to beat the hell out of a random delivery driver when he's liquored up.

Just an incredible effort play by Trevor Lawrence. Is 23 seconds too much time to give mahomes?

Was just coming here to say the Jaguars are going to pull this off aren't they?

Incredible. Maybe we can trade them Jordan Addison for a 1st round pick... A man can dream.

Hopefully he stops acting up, or he might not be worth that

Is this based only on the agent making the claim of robbing and stabbing?  If so, it's important to consider that unless the agent was at the door the entire time with Sanchez, it's completely reasonable to think the agent may have gotten his version of events from Sanchez, and did what an agent is supposed to do--advocate for his client.

If Lawrence could make the leap that a lot of us expected him to a few years ago ...

Actually, I still think they suck but it would be good for the NFL to have another top QB.

Cincy trades for Joe Flacco. That's a dumb trade, he's done. And their line will get him killed. Honestly not sure why they didn't look into Cousins instead.

Lawrence on the last Jags drive reminded me of a Tony Romo drive, right down to the last play. (botched field goal hold in that playoff game)

Last reports I heard. ATL was demanding a 2nd round pick for Cousins.

people on the internet throw around hyperboles, but that might be one of the stupidest losses in the NFL, ever.

If you didn't see it happen with your eyes, you wouldn't believe the boxscore.  I personally have never seen anything like it.

No kidding - we saw what could wind up being the dumbest play of the year as well as the unluckiest play of the year both happen to the same team in the same quarter

The Vikings at 3-2 doesn't feel great, but one glance around the standings and you realize 3-2 is just fine.

It is worth mentioning that our schedule going forward is the hardest in the NFL, and our first 5 games was the 4th easiest. This can fluctuate by quite a bit (Ravens look cooked, Chargers are beat up) but I was hoping for 4-1 in these first 5 games. I like our playoff odds more than the current 33% I'm being, but they gotta step things up and get healthier.

I also read that they want a team to pay "most of" his $27M salary, which is ludicrous.

You can't get the money and the pick....their GM should be fired if he can't trade him for a 3rd, or a 2nd if they eat the money.....

I can't imagine they get a 2nd even if they eat the money. Cousins is better than Flacco, but his arm looked dead last year. Maybe it's recovered, but I'm not giving up a 2nd on that dice roll.

And if they could get a 3rd, sure, as an outsider I'd say Atlanta should do that, but if I thought I had an actual legit team, I maybe rather have the best backup QB in the league instead of a 3rd.

In any case, Atlanta did Cousins dirty. He's still getting paid, but he's lost all career momentum. Might have been over anyway, but decent chance he had another multi year contract coming to him.

Ya. I meant to edt that.
