If he ever makes it at the MLB level it'll be as a reliever, but they continue to delude themselves (like with other past prospects) that he might just make it as a starter. Meanwhile they should be focusing on getting him to work in the bullpen.

They usually try to line them up with the pitcher's off-day throwing session.  That's why we rarely see AS pitcher selections that pitch Sunday also pitch in the ASG and more and more pitchers are opting out when they start on Saturday as well.
