nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 I’ve seen a few games where Hurts is dropping dimes. But I’ve seen more where he’s not nearly accurate enough. Today appears to be one of the latter games. Parfigliano 1
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Philly is still really good on both sides of the trenches. I have felt like they’re a fraudulent team but they keep proving me wrong.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Game set match. Philly just dominated the 4th quarter.

They aren't winning it all, but in one game, they could destroy anyone.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted November 15, 2024 Author Posted November 15, 2024 They almost exclusively ran the ball in the second half, I'm guessing in reaction to Hurt's extreme inaccuracy. It's going to have to be a good run stopping team that handles them. But a good run stopping team probably will handle them just fine. Danchat 1

TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 This happened to Kingsbury in Arizona too. Team was like 7-0 or something and then his offense got figured out and they tanked every game after until he was fired.
Danchat Verified Member Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 It's been pretty astounding what Washington has been able to do on offense given how poor their receivers outside of McLaurin are and some shaky pieces on their OL. I would expect they swoon in the second half and address a bunch of their weaknesses in the offseason. Seems like the Eagles go hot or cold and they are hot right now, but as was mentioned if Hurts has to throw the ball consistently they will get exposed. I wonder if the hot or cold version of them shows up for the playoffs.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Pittsburgh with some great defensive plays today. No onside kick? I get it.... Still surprised

Still surprised I posted on the other thread, I don’t get kicking it deep. Looks like they won’t get the ball back now. Worst case, they still had to stop them 3 times to get the ball back. Why not take a shot at recovering the kick
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Fields slides a yard short. Idiot. Can Pittsburgh get one yard?

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 The harbaughs are such whiners
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Still can't believe no one got ejected in this game. They all took calming pills at the half
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 I still don’t buy the Steelers.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Blatant face mask by the KC team missed. I don't get how the refs are this awful on easy calls. Vanimal46 and Parfigliano 2

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Buffalo knowing no one stops KC at the end. What a run.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Can't believe the refs didn't hand that to KC gunnarthor 1
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 The 1972 Dolphins can pop the champagne again. KC has their flaws too... This league is full of good not great teams and terrible teams. Hardly any mediocre .500 teams.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 I think det, kc, and bills are the class of the league. Thought ravens too but somehow they keep losing games they should win. The next tier is us, Philly, ravens, and Washington, I guess?

They had plenty of time and it was obvious. KC really catches a lot of breaks. Mike Sixel 1
