I do get it, though. I think Durán does too. I think the whole team gets it. The whole franchise.

That is no one's fault but Duran. No manager in baseball would refuse to use their best reliever outside of save situations. Anyone that ever complained about Duran coming in outside of a save situation is babying him.

I trade Duran this offseason. He's not the best reliever; he shouldn't be in all of the biggest situations.

But he's still really good and other teams would pay handsomely for him.

The Twins , as other teams, employ multiple sports psychologists. Players spend most of their year with these other people and the mental part needs to be managed. Like it or not, the days of “man up” are over. 

I would only use Durán in a non-save situation on special occasions—like tonight.
