We all love our team. But not recently. They are once again playing like dead men walking.

So once O's starter was removed, the bullpen came on and turned a 1-0 game into a 7-0 disaster.

Thus Yanks win the Al East and O's need one win to secure home field in the WC round. They will be playing hard tomorrow. But Twins won't be playing for anything so I may be forced to say go O's because at least I can see them for 2 games in post season.

Wonder what we might learn about what has happened to Royce Lewis power bat? Or Miranda?

Hey hey...Chisox win again #39. Wonder how tough they will be against Detroit...also playing for home field round one

What a sad ending to an equally sad year. It is actually sort of poetic how things are ending... I wish people would stop going to games next year so that the Pohald's would feel it where it hurts them the most. They would likely cut payroll again if fans persisted to not attend games, which would hopefully cause more fans to revolt. The end game would be "forcing" the Pohald's to sell the team. It would be a great investment for someone with deep pockets as they'd be buying a discounted product given the lack of attendance in prior year(s) before the sale. The new owners could promise the fanbase they are committed to competing, sign a few big name players, and you have a recipe for a large return on investment. I know how unlikely this is, but one guy on an internet blog took on WallStreet, so there is a non-zero chance of this happening.

Why are the announcers talking this homer drivel that Castro playing a different position nightly is a good thing.  It is not a good thing.  Not.  Even.  Close.

I like Castro and hope that we re-sign him, but he was definitely over used and overexposed this year.

Oh probably some vague reference to a nondescript situation that no one was transparent about during the season. Sorry for the attitude but I very little confidence that the organization will be forthcoming on that.

Forcing Fisher to sell the team ended so well.

No matter how much it is cried for by Twins fans, the Pohlads will never sell.  If you think billionaires have a heart, I'd like to introduce you to that snake John Fisher in Oakland.

Correa deal was bad, but not disastrous yet.

4 years 130 mil left though. It's going to just get worse and worse now that the Twins window has slammed shut.

What I find most striking is you go and sign Correa… than slash payroll. It makes zero sense to have one player account for nearly 25% of your budget What is their blueprint for success? They have no clue how to build a winning organization and a manager that has less of an idea how to create a winning culture. I blame the owners and FO at this point more than the data driven manager.
