Is Lewis hurt? That should've been 1st and 3rd with one out. Guy wasn't even in the picture when the Rays broadcast showed the ball being caught at 1B...

My thought is that we'll rarely see Lewis at 100% - couple that with he's likely being overly cautious and here we are.

I went to several July/August games and it was clear Lewis wasn't running well.

 

However, today's effort was pretty pathetic.

It wouldn't be at all shocking if he's dinged up, but yeah, if that's the best he can muster right now then they need to get somebody else in there. This team isn't good enough to give up baserunners.
