Small sample size, but Stewart hasn't looked at all like someone who can help much, in any of his appearances so far.

I've been saying all summer, expecting him to be a difference maker was always iffy. He's never been that guy outside last year.

I didn’t see the replay, but it seemed like he could have had it. If he actually extended his glove arm

Fundamentals used to be their thing.

I think it is a consequence of two things. First they favor bats over everything else in player valuation. So they tend to accumulate a lot of players who aren’t super athletic or good with the glove. Second they emulate the Rays in that they think even mediocre fielders can play multiple positions when they really aren’t that good at one position. Obviously the FO is smart enough to figure this stuff out but that is what they value. I just disagree with it.

A bad route to start with and then he kept his hands in his pockets....

I don’t know what that jump was by Martin, but it looked wildly unathletic

Ive seen 3 year olds jump higher and more athletically

Seeming more and more likely that Stewart was a flash in the pan who had a short good run like a lot of relievers do. Oh well. At least Alcala and Sands have stepped up this year.

OK great, let's all give up on him.

Meanwhile, we can certainly give up on Okert.  This guy's been rotten the majority of the year.

Okert is so bad. I would die a happy man if he never pitches for the Twins again. I wish there was a way to factor inherited runners into ERA so that everyone can see how bad he is.

There is absolutely zero excuse for letting Baez hit a ball hard. None.

He's among the 10 worst hitters in MLB. 3 percent walk rate. Swings at literally anything.

3 HR this week. Hot 🔥

Hey Rocco, take note, a good manager like AJ Hinch decided to LEAVE IN HIS LEFTY HITTER AGAINST A LEFTY PITCHER!! (gasp)  What happens?  Dinger time.  Thus, that gives him a little confidence for the next time.  Could you do that for Larnach last night in a 6-run game??  Nope.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem...
