After 12 if you ask me.

But we also don’t have to suck at it. First pitch swinging unproductive out to start the inning

Yeah, I'll never complain about it after a win. But it's just...not baseball to me, for lack of a better work. I also think do it after 12, or at 12, 15, 18 etc. But every inning is just begging for anti-climatic stuff like this. There's something to be said for a tighter margin of error as the game goes on, I suppose but...nah, I don't like it.

Some of this is on the offense. Hard to win when you only score 2.

They won without hitting a ball out of the infield. Don’t like it.

Peter.  Use your words.

Just livid about this loss!!! That’s 5 straight one run losses!!! It’s panic time!!! This is very very very concerning!!!!! Should be in tight race with Cleveland!!!

Need a real manager to win these tight games and catch Cleveland. Keep throwing the minor leaguer Vazquez out there with his brutal at bats continuing game after game. Another o Fer tonight at the plate. It’s now becoming a joke. I don’t care how much money we’re paying him! It’s obviously a mistake! Big time! If you’re serious about winning, he’s not playing. And we supposedly have him in there for his defense. Another error tonight which allowed the tying run to score. And he couldn’t pick up a ball on a bunt allowing a guy to get to first. And of course a guy on third in the 10th and he’s up to bat and fails to get it done again! Don’t pinch hit for him Rocco…that’d make too much sense! A great pitching job by Ober pissed away. Should’ve won that game…brutal

It's the perfect example of why I don't like going directly to the Manfred Man rule.* Play two more innings straight up and go to those rules in the 12th, if need be.

Sands got a ground out and another ground ball that may well have been an out if there wasn't a runner on third. At worst, it's a runner on first. The extreme case is the visiting team pitcher carrying a perfect game to the 10th, where the home team bunts the runner to third and then wins on a sac fly.

*And I'd say the same thing if the Twins won that way, though I wouldn't do with such disdain, at least this time.

I would (see previous comment).

It's just a bad idea to immediately change the rules in overtime. I think of it as analogous to soccer, where even those settings that do use penalty kicks almost always do it after a period of "regular play" overtime.
