Guessing it came from when Montgomery was on the Yankees and CV on the Red Sox. There were a few seasons where he was pretty solid at the plate especially against lefties.

Solid Festaval start! All the outs were induced on non fastballs.. he wasn't trying to blow em away with two strikes, let the defense work. But 96.. that's nice to have.

Festa is a bit of a short armer.  First time I’ve seen him pitch. I can see why he has had success as he has three legit pitches.

Not sure. Plenty of great pitchers have thrown that way. Tends to hide the ball from the hitter.
