It may simply be pitchers now are adjusting to Lewis style.

A lot of rookies come up, looking like the latest greatest , then pitchers adapt to them and reality sets in

If he hadn't messed around with Gelof on 0-2, I'd have been saying send him back out for the 9th.  But I think they can pull him now and let Jax finish this thing.

Castro to second and Larnach to LF, there were options.  Whether they were the best for defense, that is open for discussion.  But at the time it was only a two run lead, I would have played for a bigger inning.

Rocco managed to turn runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs, into 1 run. Farmer, Vazquez, Margot against a RH reliever.
