The point is, they got it right. Jeffers was out and it was called wrong. It shouldn't have been called wrong in the first place. I hope we can beat the Yankees because we beat them and not cry about something like that, which needed corrected. Really? So now there's some "slack" in the rule??? I understand your point, but if you're gonna allow "slack" you're opening up a can of worms..... h2oface 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 6 innings, 3 earned for Lopez. A certified "quality start". HAHAHA!

Suffice it to say that's not good at all. And as noted, can't blame it on the lineup tonight. Can't chalk it up to a good opposing pitcher. RpR and IndyTwinsFan 2

I can remember Baldelli being late before too, and getting the challenge, and the call being overturned. But yes, best to get all the calls correct that you can, and let the players decide the game, and not the umpiring.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 There isn’t one facet of the game we’ve done better than the Yankees this series. IndyTwinsFan 1
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Castro is about as useful as an extra scab on an owie! IndyTwinsFan 1
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Making Stroman look like a Cy Young pitcher tonight. AARGH. Starting to look like we're back to the recent days of the anemic offense. UGH

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 That didn't take long for Funderburk to give up the thunder.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Can we please remove Castro from the game?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Castro. Again. Feet stuck in cement as an easily catchable ball sails over his head.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Twins pitching raises Judge's average twenty some points in one game. 3 doubles and a homer. Damn

IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Okay, I've seen about as much of this crap as I can handle for one night. They seemingly can't do anything right tonight.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Castro shouldn't even be playing center. Our best center fielder right now is........ Kepler. Margot sucks, too. This year, maybe worse. This is what the brain trust thought was best. This is the team they designed, with the back end of the bullpen and no plan B for center, and they leave DaShawn Keirsey, a true center fielder that is raking, in St. Paul. Get rid of Margot. Just release him. And try Keirsey.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 FO is to blame. Can't afford to have Castro on the ML roster. Jocko87 1
