I know it's spring training but Nestor might not yet be right. 

Glad to see Buck with a bases clearing triple and a homer! Having both him and Correa healthy could provide the club with plenty of offense.

Also of note, Ober retired nine in a row after allowing a single and a homer to the first two batters. Woods Richardson with another 1-2-3 inning. He might be moving up the pecking order for a chance with the major league team.

That single was questionable. Hit back to Ober and he couldn’t quite handle it and it rolled toward the first base line. then he tried to pick it up with his glove and he couldn’t get it. That was followed by the home run. First two batters of the game. Only two hits from the Yanks today.

That's only a $1 bump from last year, but with MSP event parking rates soaring, I'm going to be trying to find some other options this year. It'd be fun to take the North Star, but I don't know as they'll run that route again, just like a few of the Twins express shuttles which vanished after 2019. Unfortunately, Uber/Lyft may not be one of them for Minneapolis if they bail May 1st.

But, on a brighter note, Squirrel has palm trees around her, and the Twins pounding the Yankees, no doubt! haha

Checked a few other ex-Twins in Spring Training and Luplow is having a fairly good SP, but oddly , in the spec. area they still show him wearing a Twins cap.

According to Phil Miller, no Twin has ever had two triples and a homer in the same game. I believe Kenny Landreaux had a game with three triples.

That doesn’t include spring training games.

My takeaway from listening today is Gladden needs to be replaced now.. Multiple times called Carlos Santana "Carlos Correa" including when he read off he lineups before the game started and in his first 2 AB's. Attebury finally corrected him in the 2nd AB.  Called Oswaldo Cabrera "Oswald Peraza" repeatedly as well. I might have let that slide since it's an opponent player and both are on the team but Peraza is out for 4-6 weeks now. 

 

As a analyst these mistakes should happen rarely, and definitely not repeatedly in the same game. Listening is really going to suck when he has to be the main pbp voice when Kris is off.
