If I were pitching against the twins, every inning I'd just intentionally walk the bases loaded. I'd be guaranteed to have a 0.00 ERA.

Yeah...I know it's early still, but the first 6 games definitely lead me to believe that this lineup is going to have issues scoring this year.

That sounds like a pretty hot take for it being 6 games in.

Or maybe for the way he plays baseball?

That's what disturbs me.

I would have said the same 6 games ago.

There's no "there" there. We have no middle of the order hitters. Maybe Larnach can be one.

Agreed. It's not just the lack of runs that's concerning to me - it's the strikeouts. 9 K's through 5 innings, that's 60% of their outs coming by the strikeout.

Not only does it appear they'll be challenged offensively, but also they don't seem very fun to watch. I'd rather see the Twins get no-hit and make contact as opposed to strike out 10+ times per game.

If they weren't early season games I wouldn't be nearly as invested in some of these 2-0 or 1-0 struggle fests.

Okay, runner on 2nd and no out. Let's employ our extra inning offense set.  No,............forget about that.

There is a runner on second.

Maybe we can get him in?

As in the first three batters striking out?

So was I right or wrong about Larnach's lineup spot? I don't know if this proves my point or makes Rocco the genius for having him there.

No way Larnach goes back to St. Paul.

Not looking like it.  At least not at the moment.
