Calvin Griffith sold the Twins because not good Twins meant too low of attendance to pay the price  of top players; Twins attendance had a bounce in 2019, but

Recommending a full paragraph break between ‘Griffith’ and ‘2019’

- sincerely, your editor :)

The Twins being out of contention is their gift to you to help make their wacky high jinks like that dropped popup less likely to make you want to slam a car door shut with your head in it.

Technically, I don't think that's a "dropped popup." I don't believe Miranda was able to get a glove on it. And to be fair, he had to cover at least 15 feet in no more than 8 or 9 seconds.

The Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor...

You and your rookie obsession

You  do not understand the meaning of the word; I do not want them brought up, the gents here  who say bring up this dude, that dude and the other guy, that is obsession.

But then the rookies have done SO WELL in this game.?

Glad to see Sanchez is ok.  At my sturdiest and even with any elbow pad short of something worn in a jousting tournament, 95 MPH to the elbow and I would've been doing my 'shaking it off' laying on the ground curled up in a ball of tears.

Semicolon : indicating a pause, typically between two main clauses.

Main clause : a clause that can form a complete sentence standing alone, having a subject and a predicate.

He made it look more error-ish by getting there in plenty of time but then having some sort of Outlander historical time travel moment where he was suddenly dodging falling lava at Pompeii

Just having fun — no hard feelings I hope. Griffith and the present hit me at about the same time. :)
