cHawk Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 The Home Plate Umpire is really bad at his job.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 That was a strike all the way and Sanchez caught it like a goofball. Almost looked crossed up. Almost cost him a strike
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 1-2-3 innings are for wimps.

The box says the "make-up" call was correct (or at least within the MOE.) It was also a good call to get that third strike despite the great unframing job.
2wins87 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Ump wasn't great in that inning but actually kind of impressive getting the last call right the way Sanchez caught it.

cHawk Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Of course this team can’t do **** on offense
Montdak Verified Member Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Counsel pitched a fit based on diddly

Makeup looked high. Strike 3 was a strike. Not sure what CC was complaining about
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Man it would be nice if we made any of these relievers sweat. Ya know, like everyone does to us
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 4 pitches. 2 outs. Our million dollar men. Damn.

Almost cost him a strike I think he was definitely crossed up. I think he knew what he called, so more likely Duran almost cost himself a strike on a good pitch. Good pitch nonetheless.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 That…..was fast. Going to need the Duffman to do a job here
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 I see Hader has pitched more than one inning exactly zero times this year.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Hader kills our top of the order on 9 pitches, and Duran can't get the bottom of their order out, and walks one that was 1 for his last 25. 32 pitches. Damn
