Alex Verified Member Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Do they throw curve balls in the AA? Seems new to Hicks. Pitchers that can locate breaking balls and fastballs probably don't stay in AA for long. Also, Hicks struck out a lot there, too.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Tillman is going to help bring us back in... C'mon Morneau... Make it hurt.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 OK... Plouffe... Nice easy swing... Relax and poke it out to the OF.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 This is one of those times I'm glad they don't have booth review in baseball.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 There ya go... Now Vance can pitch with a lead. Defense please.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 This is one of those times I'm glad they don't have booth review in baseball. On which play?
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Love giving him the green light there!
brianpope Provisional Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 You knew Tillman would give it up eventually
Don't Feed the Greed Guy Verified Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Gotta like those sac flies, but chicks dig the long ball!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 That's enough for this inning... Let's see if they keep Tillman in the game. If Dozier gets a hit... He's gone for sure.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 On which play?Doumit getting back into first - it looked like he was out.
Kwak Verified Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Gosh I hope a walk and a 2-run HR silences the Parmalee bashers.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Worley is only charged with one earned run, the other is unearned due to his throwing error. In my book, the pitcher should be charged earned runs that are due to his own errors. Probably just me.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Gosh I hope a walk and a 2-run HR silences the Parmalee bashers. But what has he done for us lately?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Worley is only charged with one earned run, the other is unearned due to his throwing error. In my book, the pitcher should be charged earned runs that are due to his own errors. Probably just me. Unless... You have that pitcher on your fantasy team.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I thought Doumit was out, but the replay showed that Davis (or was it Tillman) might not have put the tag down. Parmelee's bomb probably relieves some pressure and I was glad to see Plouffe getting a run home after failing his first trip.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Gotta like those sac flies' date=' but chicks dig the long ball![/quote'] Um, and guys don't? I'm good with runs scoring, however they are scored.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Trevor Bauer 3IP 0H 7BB 1 run allowed. Deduno would be jealous of that.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Parmelee's OPS now is .733. With so few ABs, it doesn't take much to normalize a player's stats.
